New Years love

Parents

You wake up to the smell of breakfast.
You look around the room. Last night was Tate's birthday party and you stayed at Sarah's. You get ups and walk down the hall and see Sarah had set the table. "You made breakfast?" You ask giggling. "Of course not. I picked up some food." She says laughing. She walks over and grabs your hand. You look into Sarah's eyes as she seats you at a seat. You pull her down closer and kiss her soft lips. "Thanks." You whisper to her. She sits down and you guys begin to eat. There was waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, and fruit. You look up and see Sarah staring at you. "You're so beautiful!" She says. "And you're so gorgeous!" You reply blushing.

After awhile you and Sarah were sitting in your parents driveway. Sarah and you decided not to say anything about you guys being together. You get out of the car and meet Sarah in the front and grab her hand smiling at her. You just had to go pick up some old things of yours and visit for a little.
You walk inside and see your parents standing near the front door. "Hey sweetheart!" Your mom says rushing over and hugging you. "Hey mom! Hey dad!" You say happily and hug your dad after your mom. "This is Sarah!" You says with excitement. "Well hello Sarah ! It's always nice to meet a friend of (y/n)." Your parents say pulling her in for a hug. "It's nice to meet you both!" Sarah says in a happy yet, nervous voice. She immediately grabs your hand after meeting them. You squeeze her hand letting her know it's okay. You can see your dad look down at Sarah holding your hand. "So let's sit and catch up!" You say breaking the silence and walking to the living room. You and Sarah sit on a couch. Your parents stay behind a little and you can hear your dad say something and just shrug it off. "How have you guys been?" You ask. "We've been great! How about you guys?" They ask. "I've been good." Sarah says. "Yeah I've been staying with her for a few days actually." I say putting my hand on her knee trying to make her more comfortable. "That's great!" Your mom says. "(Y/n) is so great. I love having her over." Sarah says being friendly and looking at you. You look at her and smile. You can see your parents glaring at you and Sarah in the corner of your eye. "Oh! So um.... Where are my things that you wanted me to take?" You ask. "It's in your room. We will wait down here and finish up dinner while you look through and decide what you want to keep." Your parents says. You jump up and grab Sarah's hand pull her up and take her to your room.
  "So this is where you used to sleep?" Sarah says laying on your bed giggling. "Yup." You say as you lay down beside her. She turns and faces you. "Your parents make me a little nervous" she says. "Well I think you made a great first impression." You say to her. You turn on your tv. "What do you want to watch?" You ask. "I thought you wanted my help looking through this stuff." She says. "We'll do it after dinner." You say while she lays her head on your chest. "Alright you can choose." She says and you feel her cheeks puff up. You can tell she's smiling.
  Your mom walks into the room and stop immediately looking at you guys sleep. You both don't here her and she quickly and quietly walks out. "(Y/n)? Sarah? Dinners ready!" She yells. You get up and shake Sarah. "Sorry I fell asleep." Sarah says getting off of you. "So did I." You say laughing.

While you guys were eating with your parents it was awkward and quiet.

"Alright. I'm going to go finish sorting my stuff." You say grabbing Sarah's hand again and walking to your room.
"That wasn't awkward at all." Sarah says sarcastically. "They don't like me." She says looking down. You quickly walk over to her and look into her eyes. "I don't know how they feel about you but I love you Sarah." You say staring into her eyes. "I love you too (y/n)" she says. You can feel her hands on your waist. You guys put your heads closer and kiss. You start to kiss her harder and lay her on the bed. She gets comfortable and you straddle her. "You're so damn sexy." You says gazing into her eyes. Sarah smiles and  pulls your face into hers. All of a sudden both of your parents walk in. "We're ready to help yo........." They stop and stare. You jump off Sarah and look at your parents. "What the hell is this?" Your dad says. "It's nothing dad. Really." You quickly say. "(Y/n). How is this nothing?" Your mom says. You look at Sarah. "We are dating." You say looking down. "I love (y/n)." Sarah says  nervously. You can see tears form in your moms eyes. "You've been staying her house!" Your dad says with a disgusted look. "We didn't do anything though!" You yell at your dad. "Well sure didn't look like that just now." Your mom says holding back tears. "We were just kissing. That's all. I'm really sorry." Sarah exclaims. "You should be sorry! Sabotaging our daughter! She's not into girls." Your dad says sternly raising his voice. "Don't talk to her like that!" You say. "What has gotten into you?!" Your mother says. You look at Sarah and grab her by her waist and pull her close to your body. Closer than usual. You gaze into her eyes harder than you have ever looked at them. "I have fallen in love with a beautiful, funny, and kind woman. You are upset with your parents and start to feel tears but you don't let that stop you from squeezing Sarah's waist and pushing your lips against hers. As you pull away you see your mother crying. "If you can't accept that then fine. I'm taking my beautiful girlfriend back to her apartment and I'm going to sleep with her and maybe I'll even get naked for her!" You yell. "Also you can keep all this shit. I would've never needed it anyway." You finally say calmly taking Sarah's hand and leading her out of the house. You can see your dad hug your mother and see tears form in his eyes as well.

  "I'm so sorry about that. I have no idea where that all came from!" You say surprised. You feel Sarah grab your face and kiss you. "I'm falling in love with you too." She says smiling. "Screw your parents. What you did was amazing and I thank you for standing up for me." She says. "I'd do anything for you baby." You say giggling as you pull out of your parents driveway.
