Luna's POV (it's probably gonna be Luna's POV until I say other wise)

Shawn and I walked through the cafeteria looking for an empty, clean table to sit at but we found nothing. I swear these people eat like animals. Poor janitors who have to clean all this mess up every day.

"We might as well just sit here." Shawn said while pointing at a table.

I went to sit at one side of the table as Shawn sat on the other side. I had nothing to eat considering the school lunch was nasty and I was too lazy to go buy something.

"You know you're my best friend and I love you, right?" I asked Shawn as I eyed the muffin in his hand.

"No, you can not have my muffin." He stated, while taking a bite out of the chocolate chip muffin.

I frowned and got up from my seat to go to the vending machines. On my way there I saw a familiar face. It was the one and only, Nick. I didn't see anyone around him so I thought why not talk to him.

I walked behind him and covered his eyes with my small hands. "Guess who!" I told him. "Uh, Beyoncé??" he asked.

I removed my hands from his eyes as he turned around and looked at me.

"I was really hoping it was Beyoncé" He said with disappointment in his voice. "Me too" I replied.

I went to sit in front of him, once I sat down he said, "What, you aren't going to run to the bathroom?"

"Haha, real funny" I say annoyed. He had a grin on his face while I just shook my head. We talked for around 20 minutes about random things until Shawn texted me.

"Shawn needs me to keep him company for the remaining 10 minutes we have" I said sadly.

I really enjoyed talking to Nick. I don't know what it was about him, but I found everything that he said to be so interesting. I've always been passionate about everything so I hated boring, meaningless conversations but with Nick it didn't matter what we were talking about. He was different than most people and most importantly, he made me forget that I was hungry. Right then and there I realized how lucky I got when I texted him instead of Shawn.

"I'll text you later?" he asks, cutting my train of thought. I nod with a smile on my face as i walk over to Shawn.

I just realized how weird my chapter titles are but eh I don't care.
