Day ten .

Third person's point of view ~

When Thomas collapse suddenly on the floor , Joseph called the ambulance to get help . He is trying to wake Thomas up but nothing had happen . His pulse is starting to palpitate slowly and his breath is uneven . Even for a nurse , he is afraid to lose Thomas , his patient . Joseph love Thomas like his baby brother . No one knew that Joseph's little brother died of having stage three cancer of kidney at the age of fourteen . That's the reason why he is a nurse , his little brother wants him to be a nurse to help other people .

When the ambulance arrived at the hotel in few minutes , all of the people were injecting IV for Thomas . He was carried in one some called bed and Joseph followed . Trying to calm himself for not knowing what to do whether he call Thomas' family or not . He argued with himself and his conscience that who to call first from Thomas' contacts . When he check , the very first one on the phone book is his best friend , Clairol Joshua . So Joseph called him .

" Hello? Thomas? You alright? " Clairol Joshua knew that Thomas won't call if its not emergency . But he got a feeling that some thing would happen . He believes at some point that his friend would die but he doubted that . Seems Clairol Joshua knew Thomas is but he had another personality that only to see from his friends are , being the childish yet matured to think about the situations he came in .

" Sir Clairol Joshua , Sir Thomas is on the way to the hospital . Please come in for him . " Joseph said , trying to be calm in this situation . He never wanted to call someone when Thomas is in this kind of situation .

" I never think of that! What hospital? Don't worry Joseph , i'll be coming . Stay put . " After saying what hospital Thomas in , Clairol Joshua hang up the phone . And he did that to every people who knew Thomas . He called . He texted . He even checked Thomas account on every website to tell them that Thomas is in the hospital .

They all arrived at the hospital within minutes . All Thomas' friends , families , his ex and the best friend . The nurses and the doctor quickly run towards Thomas and try to check him up . No one knew what will happen when he is in that situation . Trying to wake him up is not the solution . Some are facing back and forth , some are trying to calm themselves . But the only girl whom Thomas loves is just stood there without any emotion . Any time she would break .

Joseph came near at her and tried to talk out of it . " Juliette? Am i right? " Juliette just nodded and look at Joseph . " Thomas told me a lot about you . " Joseph tried to lighten up the mood by talking with her . But nothing happens . Juliette is still zoning out without noticing . Joseph finally decides to give the letter what Thomas did . " For you . From him . This is all the letters he kept since first year high . Read it when nothing happens to him , or when he is gone . "

" Are you trying to say that he won't survive the surgery? Are you nuts?! He is one tough guy! He will survive from this! I know he won't leave me! " Juliette burst out suddenly yet Nathaniel hug her from behind to preventing from hurting Joseph . " I know he won't leave me . I know Nathan , he just won't leave me like this . " She whispered turn into sobbing .

Chelsea is trying to calm Micheal down . Kirstien is with them . Knowing what to do . " Mom? Where is Thommy? I don't see him any where . " Kirstien asked her mother . Micheal just look at her and sigh before answering her question .

" Princess , Thommy is in that room . " Micheal pointed the door has a sign of surgery room . " He needs to get better before coming out of that room . " Kirstien walks towards the door and knock . She thought that knocking on that door , Thomas would go out . But only nurses are coming out from the door .

Scott , Brian , Clairol Joshua , Amanda and Briana talk about what will happen . But their hoping that Thomas would survive from his ill . He never shows any weakness or symptoms that he had cancer . No one knew from the start . But they are noticing some difference from what Thomas looks before and now .

" I never think that he would go through this alone for the whole three years and more . " Brian said . Trying to stay strong and not letting his tears fall down from his eyes .

" He never tell because he wants us to be happy as long as he is the reason . He is living like his last . Understand every thing . " Clairol Joshua said . Wiping the tears had fallen from his face . He is trying to be strong like Thomas wants . He never wants to feel that he is just weak because of Thomas is gone . Thomas wants his friends to stay strong after his death .

Joseph stood in front of them and everyone look at him . With one eyebrow raised . Joseph pull out a letter and read it out loud . Before he read it out loud , he look at them with sincerity .

" To all of my friends and family . Scott Hale . Brian Tyson . Clairol Joshua Mendoza . Micheal Kristoffer Devronne . Chelsea Devronne . Kirstien Devronne . Amanda Syfriends-Hale . Briana Marie Jackson . This letter is for you .

I may not be here when you read this or i am at the hospital by now . Trying to recover my life . I am truly sorry for every thing i've done . Keeping my sickness a secret . All i ever wanted is to have a life while it lasted . Making you happy and making you laugh is all what i wanted to see before i am gone . I know that some of you are asking why i kept it a secret from all this years because i don't want you to worry about me .

Sometimes you may think that i won't be able to say this person in time comes so i've write it in a paper to everyone . Each one of you has a letter from me , from my heart to yours . This won't be able to read from me but i hope that Joseph would read it out loud from you . Joseph is good at reading the words out , and i know that you are wondering why it happen to me .

Here . Listen very carefully .

I've got three years to decide to accept what God planned . At first , i was fighting . I wanted to live till i die or i step into college but few months after , it hit me again . That's the second warning of my ill , lung cancer . Then i started to tell lies behind your back . No one ever knew that .

I know and i take that blame but i had the rights to do it . Sorry for every thing . I may not survive or i may not be alive with you . Please be happy . Like you always did . "

After reading the letter out loud , the doctor came out . All of the stood up and came closer to the doctor so everyone would listen .

" Thomas Gordon Yoon? " When he called his name , everyone stood up and ready to hear about the news . " Okay . Thomas got only days left , or even fewer . We did everything we can ma'am sir but Thomas wanted this to happen . "

Everybody cried for Thomas . They never know why or how he live like this in three years long maximum . But to Juliette , she ran away from everyone . Nathaniel follows her . When she is in the hallway , no one is around . She suddenly seated on the floor and cried . Juliette never imagine that Thomas would give up his life . No one ever imagine that because everyone knew he is a fighter . But why? He knows that Juliette is in good hands of Nathaniel , he may let go of her .

But Juliette slapped her hands to the floor or even try to punch it because of what they all heard . No one knew what will happen to the future of their lives without him . Nathaniel calmed her and when she is already calmed , they both left the hospital that night .
