**Well this is the end I suppose, I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing this :) "Warzone" by The Wanted**

Lauren’s Point of View

I smile as Niall junior hobbles around the front lawn, the blond hair that’s visible from one of his father’s old snapbacks gleaming in the spring sunlight. I received all of Niall’s possessions and I know that little NJ will be proud, when he’s older of course, to know who his father was. His blue eyes, shining with joy, meet mine before he squeals happily and keeps toddling on. I laugh, shaking my head as he claps his hands and squeals happily as he notices that my attention is held on him.

It’s a relief that the Directioner fandom was able to assassinate the President. Turns out she was a major bitch made of plastic and worshipped some weird guy named ‘Bieber’…Either way my son was safe and the legacy of One Direction lived on in his veins. I look up at the bright blue sky, and I know Niall, along with Liam and Louis, Zayn and Harry, Alicia and even little Heather are staring down at us and watching with their protective eyes.

I smile and close my eyes, the sunlight warming me and I feel the soft breeze tickling my face like Niall’s breathing, and I know that I don’t have to run away anymore. No more Hunger Games, no more warzones. No more battlegrounds, sacrifices, tributes. We were finally safe and sound, at last. Nothing less, or more than this comforted me than the fact that now it was over.

My son would never understand why I always said to my son before he went to sleep, “The ones that killed your father ain't hurting you.” But he will learn when he’s older of my feats, of his father’s feats, of his father’s brother’s feats.

No more Games to play at last.
