Lunch
I slammed my lunch tray on the table.
“You would not believe what that bitch said to me,” I complained to Jas, sitting across from her.
“And you’re referring to….”
“Jennifer,” I sneered.
“Oh no, what happened?” she asked.
“So, we were in biology and pushover Harrison assigns us partners and Jen kept bitching about how she doesn’t want to work with me.”
“What did you do?”
“Nothing,” I assured her. “…Yet.”
“Don’t do anything rash.” Just then, I felt my hair being drenched and milk was coming down my face.
I screamed bloody murder. WHAT. THE. FUCK?
I looked up to see Jennifer, smirking down at me.
“Now you know not to mess with me,” she laughed. I was trying so hard not to punch her, I really was. Seriously, I actually used my left hand to pin my right hand to the table.
“What the hell is your problem?” Jas yelled, getting up from the table and in Jen’s face. By now, everyone was staring at us, expecting a fight.
I sighed and pulled Jas away from the bitch before she did anything stupid.
“Come on, Jas,” I said, “She’s not worth it.”
“But—” Jas started to protest, but I dragged her away from the cafeteria and into the bathroom so I could wash out my hair.
I turn the knob, letting water run through and I ducked my head in it. When I was done, my hair was wet and so was part of my shirt.
I looked up to see a very angry Jas. “Don’t tell me you're getting soft,” she growled.
The faith this girl had in me. “Of course not,” I protested.
“Then why did you back down in the cafeteria?” she interrogated, almost yelling.
“I’m sick of the principal’s office being my second home so I’m getting revenge after school.”
“What are you going to do?”
I smiled evilly at her. “This is what we’re going to do…”
******
“Who has a party on a Wednesday?” Jas snickered.
I shrugged, looking around the room. Despite how I felt about her, Jen had a pretty good-looking house. It wasn't huge but it wasn’t tiny either; it was a white, two story-high house.
People were dancing in the living room, and everyone was making out…everywhere.
“I’m going to get a drink. You guys want anything?” Josh asked. Oh yeah, I forgot we brought him with us. Both Jas and me shook our heads and he walked away.
“Let’s get started on the plan,” Jas commanded. She was more determine to humiliate Jennifer than I was.
I nodded, and she made her way upstairs while I went to find Jen. The plan was, she would go upstairs to Jennifer’s room and find something we could use against her while I distracted Jen.
I was looking for her when I accidentally bumped into someone, making them spill their beer on himself.
“Watch where you're going.”
