He Finally Did Something Right

Sorry for taking a while for a new chapter lol hope u like it

“What’s up?” I said to Mr. Fielder as I walk into his office, dropping my bag on the floor and sitting down on the chair across from him.

“What’s up is that you punched Betsy Johnson in the face.” He said putting air quotes on the words, ‘what’s up’.

“Who?” I said playing dumb.

“Betsy Johnson? She has a twin sister, Bitsy.”

I shrugged. “Sorry still don’t know what you’re talking about. When did you say she got punched?”

“Before this period and I called your history teacher, Mr. Chaz, who said you arrived to class 10 minutes late and you stormed out.”

“Well,” I started. “I was late because I had girl trouble and plus I can’t walk with this cast on.” I pointed to the cast on my leg.

“Really?”

“If you don’t believe me, ask Josh. He was with me the whole time.”

“Josh who?”

“Hannigen? The new kid?” Damn why did I say Josh?

Mr. Fielder pressed a button on his phone. “Nicole, can you please get a Josh Hannigen out of class please?” He looked at me and I stare around feeling awkward.

Five minutes later, Josh walks in to the office. Thank god.

“You wanted to see me sir?”

“Yes sit down.” Mr. Fielder pointed to the sit next to me and Josh sat down.

“What’s up?” He said.

“Well Betsy told me that Jacquelina here punched her but Jacquelina denied that she did a such thing and I’m trying to get to the bottom of this.”

I smiled looking at Josh giving him a look that I hope scream, ‘Please help me and go along with my plan.’

“Betsy who?” Josh asked. I breathe out a sigh of relief. Good Job Josh. Finally did something right.

“Betsy Johnson? She has a twin name Bitsy.” Mr. Fielder was getting a little frustrated. Haha. Suck it.

“No I don’t know any Betsy or Bitsy sir.”

“Can you please tell me what you and Jacquelina was doing before this period?”

“Yes. I was helping her because she had a cast on her foot and she had to stop at the um…”

“Bathroom.” I coughed.

“The bathroom because she had to um…” He looked at me for an answer.

“Girl trouble.” I mouthed.

“Because she had girl trouble.”

“Did you guys see Betsy and Bitsy?”

Josh shook his head. “No we did not sir.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes I’m pretty sure.”

“Okay you guys can go.” We both go up and walk towards the door when Mr. Fielder called my name.

“Yes?” I said.

“You have detention today.”

“For what?” I yelled.

“You stormed out of Mr. Chaz’s class.”

“So? That guy irritates me.”

“I don’t care. Detention after school or else.”

“Or else what?” I challenged.

“You don’t what to know.”

“Fine.” I snatched the detention slip out of his hand, stormed out of the office and slammed the door. I dragged Josh away from the office. I turn around and wrapped my arms around him. After a few seconds, he hugged me back.

“Thank you so much.” I said stepping back from him.

“It’s no problem.”

“I could have gotten expelled.”

“But you didn’t. Just stay out of trouble from now on.”

I laughed. “I don’t think that’s possible.”

“I know.” He chuckled.

“Do you want me to show you the bus to take since I have detention?”

He shook his head. “Actually, I have detention too.”

“Why?”

“For being late to Spanish class.”

“Oh well meet me at my locker so we can walk together to detention.”

He nodded. “See you later.”

We went our separate ways once more and I made my way towards the library. Maybe I could sleep in there.
