I sat there not knowing what to down with my self. The talent show was Friday and Royalty still doesn't know that it was me that auditioned her. I looked up seeing Sammy.
"You good?" She asked sitting in front of me.
I shrugged. Its been 2 months now and me and Chris still weren't talking, it affected the whole group so I decided to keep by myself.
"You look down Shawn, and I noticed you ain't with ya boys"
"What's it to you?"
"You need some cheering up" She said smiling slightly.
I shrugged again.
"I'm good"
She reached for my hand rubbing it slightly.
"Know I'm here for you"
I snatched my hand back. Yeah we fucked around these past months but I don't need no one.
"Whatever" I said coldly before getting up and walking away.
It was after school and it was also girls basketball so I decided to g to the gym and watch before going home. I looked up in the bleachers noticing the guys. I shook my head and sat near the gym door.
"What's the score?" I asked some girl next to me.
"3-1" She said without taking her eye off the game.
I watched as Royalty and Amerie worked together high fiving each other once one of the girls made another shot. It's weird to say although she's sweaty she still looked good. I watched right to the end of the game which they won. People started leaving and I knew that was my que.
"Green Giant"
I turned round seeing Amerie running up to me.
"Glad you made it" She said smiling.
I nodded.
"We was gonna go for pizza to celebrate if you wanted to come?"
I looked behind her as the guys got closer and shook my head.
"I'm good but congrats" I said about to walk away but she pulled my arm gently.
"Its not the same without you" She mumbled.
"You good" I said before walking off.
I walked to my car getting in the driving off.
"Kay baby what you doing here?" My mum asked once I walked into the kitchen.
"I need some sort of advice?" I asked a little confused.
She smiled.
"Who is she"
I sighed the sat across from her.
"Some girl from school, I mean she been rolling with us for a while now, Amerie introduced her to everyone and since then her and Chris been flirting with each other"
"Mmm" She said signalling me to continue.
"I started to notice myself watching her more, feeling off when ever Chris had his arm around her or when they leaned on each other and held hands or whatever, Chris always claimed they just close but a few months ago we got into it and he asked her out blankly in front me, but its like revenge, he said if you want something fight for it and next time I should be real with him"
"Baby...it sounds a little nuts, I mean technically Chris is playing with the girl but to teach you a lesson which I understand, if you been feeling like this why didn't you just tell her?"
"I mean we've kissed and everything but its awkward my character ain't to sweet talk girls and date them but just to sleep with them and move on" I said honestly.
She shook her head.
"I saw you and Chris little altercation on twitter, so I guess yall ain't talking?"
"Nah, and its affected the group so I distanced myself from everyone, I just about got to speak to Amerie today after their basketball game"
She sighed.
"First of all you and Chris need to tal---"
"---We had a actual fist fight" I said wiping my face.
"Kayshawn Carter Smith wtf is wrong with you"
"It got intense, I admit it was childish"
"You need to bring Chris ass over here now" She demanded.
I shook my head no.
"I will sort it out in my own time I promise"
"Good, and make sure by the end of it I get to meet this young girl" She said.
"She will be performing at the school talent show" I mumbled.
"I will be there" She said smiling.
I took a deep breathe.
"Sup son" Dad said smiling once he saw me.
"Sup dad" I said nodding at him.
"You staying the night?"
I shrugged and nodded.
"Good, we can catch up"
