Hi, I'm still alive. For anyone who's going through stuff and doesn't wanna talk about it, at least make yourselves a cup of tea.
This is my first AU, I guess once I'm done with all the AUs I've planned I'm ending the book.John Watson stood at the door, he wasn't sure if Sherlock had lost his mind. Leaving in search of Irene Adler was one thing, especially since she died but leaving two teenagers in charge was another.
John looked at the hispanic 17 year old, what deduction skills he had picked up from Sherlock kicked in.
Leo Valdez, Watson deduced, was the fidgety sort, judging but the way he moved his hands non stop.
He was a mechanical prodigy from a young age but was still yet to learn. Though the teenager was nothing short of creative, making things from nothing.
John was sure there was more that he was missing, but had not picked up many observational skills evidently.
But his accomplice, Y/N Y/L/N was another thing. John could recieve nothing from her, not matter she expressed emotion or not.
All he knew, Sherlock had told him, which was Y/N was somewhat like Sherlock.
A deductionist, with an extricate mind palace; observational to say the least.
Y/N had met Sherlock when she stubbled upon a murder.
Not much caught Sherlock's interest unless it was a murder or intellectual challenge.
And that's what Y/N was, not dead, but a challenge.
Sherlock said he trusted her, and so in turn John did, though, she had not done anything to spark distrust. He was still hesitant because of his wife, Mary, John knew all to well that what people think and do are very different from what you actually think they thought and did.
"Well, we should get going, Watson." Sherlock said. He turn turned to leave turned his head and nodded once at the Y/H girl and her boyfriend.
"Be good." John said after Holmes, if Y/N was even remotely like Sherlock than she would attractive the oddest of company; judging by a boyfriend who was nice but odd.Y/N POV
You sighed, breathing out a large amound of air. Having a large mind palace was tiring as you had to find a vacant 'room' to store your information. Leo set his hands on your back, a cheeky smile on his face.
"What?" You asked, he was up to something.
Leo leaned in head slightly tilted,
"We should do something," his accent was thick and stood out in London, as did his tan skin and wild mop of hair.
You chuckled, leaning up ever so slightly so you just barely touched lips.
"Like what?"
"Drink tea!"Leo yelled, as he ran to the kitchen. You were left in confusion, drink tea?
"Why?"
Yes you knew that tea was a luxury in older times, but not any more.
"We're in England silly, why not!"
And you understood, Leo had stereotypical illusions that since you were currently in London tea was a common drink. You weren't sure of this, but you always thought the Spanish were hot and enticing. You got Leo, annoying and egotistical, so you did not hold anything against Leo's ignorant assumptions, knowing you had some of your own.10 minutes later,
So now here you were, sitting on Leo who was sitting in John's armchair. It was comfy, maybe a little to warm but still nice.
"I understand why they like tea so much here," Leo whispered to you, to close to talk in his normal voice.
"Hmmm."
You were tired, the tea made you sleeply added to the fact Leo was the best cuddler. It didn't take long for you to doze off in Leo's arms as he started drinking your vanilla tea, an arm wrapped around your waist. Looking for something to do whilst you napped.Mrs Hudson knocked once and came in as she heard the low Spanish voice of who she had dubbed Leo, but was not completely sure.
"Are you alright would you like dinner- oh!" Mrs Hudson said, surprised by the sight. There in John's chair was the young pair, squished in a tight ball of limbs.
"No, no we're fine. We had tea." Leo said sleeply as he paged through John's blog.
Mrs Hudson smiled, and nodded. Suddenly she had the need to squeal at the sight, the young couple sparked her need to, what is it called today- ah fangirl.
