Oblivion

(Today's my birthday so I thought I could do something special, a tribute to all the people who's birthday's have passed and are yet to come, hope you dudes had and will have fun. Have a happy late/ early birthday :p)

Narrator's POV
Leo and Y/N were sleeping in her room, after had a vivid nightmare Leo had to make sure she was alright, he started to sing Oblivion by Bastille and after each verse he would explain what it meant to him about her.
Leo's POV
"When you fall asleep with your head upon my shoulder.
When you're in my arms but you've gone somewhere deeper."

"I'll give it to ya straight Y/,n just fell asleep in my arms, and there isn't any other deeper happiness, I could feel. But?

"Are you going to age with grace?
Are you going to age without mistakes?
Are you going to age with grace,
Or only to wake and hide your face?"

"It was your birthday, and I know exactly what to get, but to say I not worried would be lie. Everyone changes when they grow up. I just hope you would do it with grace I hope you won't be table dancing, I hope you knew I will be with you through all your mistakes, I hope you will never have to hide from me cause all I want to see is your beautiful face. "

"When oblivion is calling out your name,
You always take it further than I ever can."

"I hope that y/n, you will never forget who I am, you do like to go to 'infinite and beyound' is always more curious than I am."

"When you play it hard, and I try to follow you there.
It's not about control but I turn back when I see where you go."

"And I'll always there to follow you, to make sure your safe. I know I can never control you, but just to make sure your safe I turn back to see if you haven't fallen off the tree, and hopefully not a cliff." But?

"Are you going to age with grace?
Are you going to leave a path to trace?"

"Are you, y/n l/n going to age with grace, and for the lost leave the best path that others could trace?"

"But oblivion is calling out your name,
You always take it further than I ever can."

"Never forget me, if it ever come to it, you were always more curious than me."

Narrator's POV
Leo fell asleep, and the next day on y/n birthday, she remembered nothing of the song. But when he played he made them dance to the soft beat, quite clichely under the moonlight. Leo decided then and there that (your birthday date) was the best day of his life.
