4:46am

the next floor's door didn't need a key to be opened because it was already unlocked. jane knew that the doors for the other floors were always unlocked. most doors in the hospital were unlocked except for the basement and the attic. jane was hoping that the other door that could get them into the attic would be unlocked, but there was a chance that it wouldn't be.

from the moment they opened the door, the girls felt a brisk chill hit them. there was a narrow metal bridge with railings on both sides, and on the left they saw something that looked like a huge water tank. several feet beneath them was a large body of water that filled the entire floor of the hydrotherapy area. jane stomped her foot on the bridge to test its stability. it creaked loudly, but it seemed okay to walk on.

"what is this place?" glenda wondered in awe.

as she stepped onto the metal bridge, jane began explaining to them, "this is one of the therapy floors. this one was used especially for hydrotherapy."

"and what exactly is hyfrotherapy?" glenda uttered another question, partially to keep herself distracted from everything that was happening. also, she was afraid of heights and did not want to think about the possibility of falling into the large body of water.

vienna rolled her eyes at her friend. "water for the use of therapy."

gesturing to the water several feet below them, jane said to them, "the water down there is ice cold, always kept at a temperature of thirty five degrees farenheit. that's just enough so that it will remain liquid, but still be cold as hell." jane gulped back a chill that ran down her spine and continued with her story, "they would just throw the patients in there and leave them in that hell for hours. many of them would die from the cold alone, others would drown because they couldn't swim. survivors were taken to one of the lower floors for electroshock therapy."

vienna curiously touched the railing to get a better look at the body of water. the moment her hand touched the cold metal of the rail, she felt herself being sucked into one of the hospital's terrifying memories. she was no longer with jane and glenda, but she saw several doctors and male nurses practically dragging people into the hydrotherapy floor.

the patients struggled and cried out for help, but no one would come.

vienna watched in horror as they pushed the patients over the railing, one by one, and they fell into the water while they continued to cry for help. she was snapped out of her vision by jane, who urged her to follow so that they could get across the bridge.

but vienna felt a chill run down her spine, and it wasn't just because of the temperature in the room.

4:51am

the girls were halfway across the metal bridge that stood over the body of water beneath them when they noticed there was a large piece of the bridge floor missing. they couldn't get to the other side. with a groan from her lips, vienna said, "this is just fucking great. bloody harry might as well just grab us and throw us in the water."

"oh my god, vienna!" jane cried out, her voice in a shriek. she was looking at something behind the young heiress, and when she turned, she saw none other than bloody harry standing behind her.

he was tall, much taller than them, with long brown hair that produced a shadow which covered his eyes. he was dressed in a patient robe and looked much like a regular person, had they not already known who he was. it was like the seconds passed in slow motion for vienna price. she saw him reach out to grab her by the arms, but she was quicker than him. she jumped out of the way and pushed glenda forward with all her strength.

the force of her push sent the screaming glenda into bloody harry's arms and both fell over the railings and into the freezing water below.
