The lights flickered on and everyone was crouched on the floor except for me. I was searching looking for her.
Three songs, thats all she said, and now she was gone.
"ALLI!" I yell out, my hands cupping my mouth like a megaphone as I search everywhere for her.
I paused for a second and found Alice, getting her to get through the crowd and come to me.
"Alice, make sure everyone is okay, I am going after them and getting Alli back." She nodds and I rush out of the room, heading to mine where I can grab my tablet. My phone rang and I pick up.
"What happened?" Mika asks as
I quickly I change into black clothing.
"Alli was taken, get Aleck and the twins, have Max check on the traitor." The words rush out of my mouth.
"Roger, have horses ready?"
"Yes." I order out and hang up, grabbing my tablet and making my way down to the stable.
This was like her sixth birthday all over again when bandits had taken her for ransom. If I hadn't had found the trail they left I would never had found her the first time.
"Hang on Alli, I'll find you." I whisper.
I reach the stables just as Mika comes out with the others and their horses, my black arabian's reigns in his grip.
"Where too?" He asks as I mount my horse and switch to the tracker app.
It loaded for a few minute, time that was precious to Alli's life, and I sighed when the red dott showed where she was and the green dot showing our position.
She was moving, and fast, past the east forest and thats where we headed.
I lead the group as we raced against time to get to our friend and save her life.
I kept an eye on the tablet, correcting my course.
I thought that the stupid technology had froze but I realized that they had stoped when I saw our dot was still moving.
I signalled for us to slow down and looked at the twins, the two shadows.
"Scout the area and locate Alli." I whisper to them.
They nod and dissapear. The time ticked back slowly and I waited for them to return.
"Sky." It was Lia as she silently rushed back.
"Mia is watching the shack."
She states and grabes my tablet, flipping to the drawing app.
"The shack is L shaped, the back rooms have collapsed from damage but the front room is intact.
She is off to the side on a matress passed out and three men guard her, well, guard her and party at the same time."
She uses different colours to show us who was who, and it took everything in me from not storming in there and killing them all.
The door was farthest away from Alli and looked like it opened inward, but there were four windows all around her.
I took a moment to look at the drawing and smiled, a plan forming.
"Me and the twins will take the windows closest to her. Aleck, you and Mika will make noise by the door and in the forest." They noded and we left the horses where they were and silently made our way to our spots.
We waited till they were drunk before I gave the signal, cringing as they snapped branches and threw rocks at the door.
"Waaazts zatch?" The man closest to the door slured in his drunken state.
"Go cecph" the skinny one said and kicked one that was falling asleep.
"Waah?" He whined out.
"Go wish hem." The skinny one said and the two left. This was our time to move as we climbed through the open window, the shadows going behind the Skinny guy and knocking him out.
It was too easy but then again rebels never made sense.
I rush to Alli and pick her up gently, this time using the door and running with her bridal style in my arms.
I reach my horse in no time, carefully lifting her up and getting on myself, the rest of the squard taking our hostages and tying them up to their horses.
I didn't stop to make sure they were okay because I knew they were fine.
My main concern was the women in my arms who was unconscious and wasn't responding.
"Hang in there Alli." I plead as I pushed my horse faster, the castle soon coming into view.
"Almost there." I said desperately. I stoped my horse infront of the door, carefully getting off with Alli in my arms.
"Some one get the doctor." I ground out as I run into the main hall, maids clearing the way as I rush Alli to her room.
I had passed the ball room only to hear the party still continuing and practically growled.
Here the Princess was, possibly dying, and the stupid nobles are still partying.
I shook me head. Now was not the time to get angry at those prissy wimps when Alli needed me.
Quickly I race into her room and lay her on her bed carefully.
I pace the room as I wait for the slow doctor, the man finally showing his face after twenty minutes.
"I never thought I would see her again." The old man said as he hobbles into the room.
"You're-"
"The one who took her memories for her safety, yes. Now what happened?" The doctor said.
I get straight into the story as he checks her over, finding a pin mark.
"Looks like she was injected with a sedative." He takes out a needle and draws some blood, sticking it into a machine.
Time ticked by agonizingly slow and I felt like tearing my hair out.
I stoped when a small ding sounded and the doctor read the notes carefully.
"She will be fine. Just keep an eye on her since she may be asleep for a few days. The sedative has to work out of her system naturally." I collapsed where I stood, the adrenaline that was pumping through my system escaping me.
"Thank you." I whisper, getting a smile from the doctor.
"Keep her safe." He says and leaves.
I slowly get up and turn the lights off, climbing in beside her and holding her close.
