I lay awake in my bed, thinking about today.
It was weird watching how heartless Alli was in the interrogation. Trilavantas had it coming.
But still, the way she sat while he screamed, even I flinched.
But the way she looked at the roses had tugged at my heart. It sucked that I couldn't tell her who I was and how much I love her.
...let him know I am glad he saved me from that pack of wild dogs.
Those words, her voice, float through my head.
"At least she is remembering me." I whisper with a sad smile.
My mind was too awake for me to sleep and with a grunt I get up and head out of my chambers, my door opening at the same time as Alli's.
She was wearing a pink tank top that barely held her breasts in it and booty shorts.
I only had a pair of pajama pants on.
"Um...hi." her voice is quiet as she looks at me, a blush on her face as she takes in my bare chest.
"Hey." I smile. "Can't sleep?"
She shakes her head and walks towards me, wrapping her arms around my bare waist.
"I saw how I lost my memories."
She didn't know how her touch affected me.
"Wanna talk about it?"
She nods and lets go of me.
I thought she would head to the couch in my sitting room but she surprised me and went straight for my bed and snuggled under the covers.
I smiled at the sight of her and walked over to the other side, getting and settling against the pillows when I felt her head rest against my chest.
"You okay?" I ask, playing with her golden hair.
"I hate being alone." She whispers, my heart breaking slightly.
"You're not alone, I'm here." She sighs and yawns, pressing closer to me.
"Wanna tell me what happened?"
And with those words she started talking about the doctor that Trilavantas had mentioned and how he helped her escape, giving her the name Allison. It was close to her true name, Allisara, but it was also the one that hid her.
She said how the memories would now come back stronger or faster, she didn't know why she knew that, only that instinct told her.
She yawned after telling me everything on her mind and her eyes were closing.
"I'm...glad...you're...here" she says as she finally falls asleep in my arms, her breathing slow and even.
She looked so adorable and I wrapped my arms protectively around her and pulled her closer, smiling when her arms wrapped around my tighter.
I was happy that I had found her, but pissed off when Demitrias took all the glory.
He didn't care whether he married her or not while I used every oportunity I could to find her.
Demitrias was like his father, only wanted power and not the beautiful woman in my arms.
I wanted her.
When that monitor buzzed showing the DNA match with her as a prisoner, my heart broke, but quickly fixed itself as I would get to see her.
It sucked that I had to pretend that I didn't know that she was a prisoner earlier. I was shoked that she went to the 'reform' prison.
But none of that mattered anymore, not now that she was with me again, I will never let her out of my sight.
"Sky..." I hear my name and look down at the sleeping girl, a serene smile on her lips.
I smiled and watched her as I fell asleep.
