"Tell me again why you thought that my throne was yours!"
I state impatiently, my violet eyes watching the former duke sit smugly in the metal interrogation chair.
I had been here in this small room for an hour and a half, my patience wearing thin as I got small information and a bunch of remarks that didn't make any sense, as well as a bunch of rude things where I could stick my mouth and any other part to piss me off.
It was getting to the point I would get Max, the guard, to persuade him.
"I told you, I thought you were dead."
"Your lying!"
"How would you know."
"Because with out the body of any last living royal member, the Regeant couldn't become King or Queen."
I stated, watching the muscle in his jaw tighten. I had him.
"Now tell me the truth."
"Make me."
I snaped, and so did my finger and the guard broke one of his.
Growing up in the slums I was used to violence and bone breaking. This was nothing. His screams were nothing.
"Tell me."
"Fück You!"
I snaped again, another broken finger, another agonizing scream.
"You have two thumbs, six fingers and ten toes. If I have to ask again, not only will you have every finger and toe break, you will have them butchered off. Now thats a total 40 more times. Refuse to answer me and you will regret it."
I waited after my warning, watching Mister Trilavantas while he gasped for breath. His hands were cuffed to the chair and I cought a good glimps of his broken fingers.
They were a clean break like I wanted it.
He glared at me, opening his mouth and getting ready to say a remark like always and I raised my hand, ready to snap my fingers, smirking when he thought better of it.
"Fine, I'll tell you."
"Good, get started."
"But to tell you I have to start the night of the revolution."
I gulped. That was the day my parents were slaughtered and only my maid had managed to save me with the help of a boy and a guard.
"Continue then."

The revolution was reaching the castle. Soon the castle and the Kingdom will be in my reach.
Demitrias was already on the horse with the knight he had been squired to, taken away to my estate.
"Lord Trilavantas, the princess and her maid are missing!"
"What, she was supposed to be in the nursary."
Fück, my plans are slipping now.
I growled at the words my messenger brought, but stayed where I was.
Screams of those dying could be heard clearly now as the rebels had 'found' their way into the castle.
"Juden!" The King and Queen bursted into the study and blocked the door, panting for dear life.
"Whats all the commotion Alex?" I feigned concern as I rushed to my 'friend' and his wife.
"The rebels, they got in." The Queen said, her face tear stained.
"I know, who do you think started this?"
With that I took my sword and plunged it into her chest, killing her instantly.
"Juden what are you doing?"
"Taking a kingdom and making it my own."
I stabed at the King, growling when he dodged.
I kept at it for a while, landing a few blows until he was on his knees.
"Why?"
"Because I felt like it."
"At least my daughter is safe."
With that my sword plunged into his chest and the King was dead...

"YOU KILLED MY PARENTS!" I got up from my seat and lunged for the man sitting across from me. This was not the person I grew up knowing.
But Sky held me back, setting me back on my own chair as I seethed with anger and hatred.
"Yes. Now if you would allow me, I have to finish the story on why I didn't kill YOU when I thought you were dead"

"We found her my lord."
It had been a month since I had taken the Kingdom, but word had spread that the princess was alive.
I smiled knowing that soon I would be King.
"Where is she."
"Out on the apple farm."
Perfect. The family owed me a debt from keeping the rebels away from them.
With in minutes everyone was loaded into the car and making our way to the only apple farm in Zalaris.
I took the time to go over notes on what went missing in the rebels wake as well as what needed to be done to make this Kingdom more to my standards when the door sudenly opened.
"We are here."
I nodded and got out, only to be hugs by a small child.
"Uncle Juden you came for me."
It was the Princess.
"Of course, now pack your things, its time to go."
She nodded obediently and raced into the house.
I turned to the farmers and paid them for their silence.
After several minutes Alisara came running back out, huged the farmers and hoped into the car.

"So you're telling me that I was with a nice group of farmers and instead of leaving me there, you took me so that you could kill me?" I asked threateningly.
"Well yes." He was smirking and I really wanted to punch him.
"Continue the damn story." I grumbled, glaring at him.

"I want her dead, make it look like she was killed by the rebles." I whispered to the doctor.
He was on my paycheck and I knew he wouldn't betray me.
I waited a few hours before the doctor came out, dragging an assistant that looked like he had to much opium in his system.
"This little idiot here cremated the girl." The doctor growled out.
I was furiouse.
"Kill him." Was all I said to the guards before walking out seething with rage.
My chance at being king now taken.

"So you see, I thought you were dead. And with out proof of your body I couldn't claim the throne as mine." He stated matter of factly.
All I could do was stare at him.
"So you never tampered with my memories?"
"No, I just wanted you dead."
I slowly stood and walked to the door, pausing for a few second.
"Your confession has been recorded. You will be executed the day of my parents death publicly and telivised and the people will know what you did."
I took a deep breath and turned to face the man who was once like a father to me.
"Did your family know?"
"No I kept it a secret from them."
I nodded and looked at Max.
"Make sure his hand is healed. And Trilavantas-"
"Yes."
"- Your famile will be spared. They can keep most of ther land but the ones closest to the castle. Those will be taken away and given to some one I can trust."
I swear I saw tears in his eyes before I left with Sky trailing behind me. I needed peace and quiet and I knew just where to go.
