Okay...so I just realized that there are two Chapter 6s...yeah I'm smart haha. So I just decided to title this one Chapter 7. and everyone thatnks for all your comments and votes!! they're great! I had alot of schoolwork and stuff going on so sorry about the somewhat late post. Highschool is really intense! Anyway here's the story...

The bell rang for class, and in a daze I walked out of the room. The rest of the day was torture. I sat unsresponsivey through lunch and my other classes. Briefly in the back of my mind i noted that Jared seemed somewhat upset. Unfortunately, I felt like I couldn't care less. The only three things I noticed were class, Ian, and the clock.
At the last bell, I watched the seconds tick on the clock. I counted down, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3...2.......1! I rushed out of the room when the clock flashed 3:00. I scoured the crowd for a sign of Ian. I couldn't spot him anywhere. Instead, Jared walked by and grabbed my arm. "Hey baby, who ya lookin' for. I'm here!" he said, laughing. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me on the cheek. "We should get to the lockers, you know," he said. I followed him to the lockers, still looking for Ian.
"God, what the fuck? Why're you acting like this?" said Jared. He grabbed me by both my arms and positioned me in front of him. "Let's let the doctor check." He scanned me from head to toe. Then, he stepped forward and placed his hands on my shoulder and said, "Unfortunately I see nothing wrong. You're perfect. perfect." He repeated perfect, stepping forward, pressing my body into the lockers. He tilted his head down and kissed me. Jared felt so warm on top of me, and he was acting so sweet. But all I could think of was Ian. What was wrong with me? I had the perfect life now. Perfect boyfriend. Amazing mother. Popularity. But I couldn't appreciate it. because all I could think about was this strange beautiful intelligent boy. Ian.
Suddenly, the warmth on me was gone, replaced by a rush of cold air and laughter. The football team had grabbed Jared by his shirt and dragged him away. "Sorry sweetie, we're gonna have to borrow your boyfriend for a bit!" yelled Isaac. I blushed. Had they seen me and Jared making-out just a second ago? I saw them disappear around a corner. I sat down on a bench and thought. Where was Ian? He'd said (or rather written) "fine, let's talk after school." I still had the note! How clear could it be? Maybe he'd forgotten. I buried my head in my lap.
"Ashlyn, I didn't forget about you if that's what you think," I heard. Looking up I saw Ian come out of the shadowy part of the north hallway into the locker area. How did he always seem to know what I was thinking? "You just seemed a little preoccupied, so I thought I'd leave you alone, and I had some stuff to do," he continued. I stared at him. He had on a pair of shorts and a Northington High Cross Country T-shirt with a pair of running shoes. No glasses. "Hey," I said. "Hi," he answered. Wow, this was getting more awkward by the minute.
He came and sat down by me. He looked gorgeous. His hair was casually messed up from running, falling onto his face. "Umm, yeah so what's up with you trying to get me off the sci-bowl team?" I said. God. what a stupid thing to say! When inside all I could think about was him, I said something totally awkward to him. "Oh what?' he asked with raised eyebrows. "Uhh, I heard you trying to convince Mr. Girard that I wasn't good for the team or something," I plowed on. "Oh! you heard that? Yeah, I just thought, you know, you'd be busy with dance team and stuff. " What! Liar! "Fag!" I yelled. Rather than looking upset, he looked amused. "What? How the hell did you come up with that? I just don't seem to connect the two statements. And is it supposed to be offensive because that would be discrimination," he said with a tiny grin on his face. He has a cute smile! i thought. If you like him so much, stop yelling things like "fag" at him i told myself.
"Ashlyn, do you have an odd thought process?" he asked. "What?" I said. "Well, I can tell when your thinking and what your thinking-" he started. "Oh my god! So twilight isn't a bunch of bullshit! No wonder your like socially inept and can read minds and stuff," I screeched. Stop Ashlyn. Stop talking now. At my outburst, Ian burst into laughter. I stared at him rolling around on the bench, breathless from laughing. "Twilight- read minds- bullshit- fag- Ashlyn-" he gasped. I looked at him with an attempted look of disdain. He looked up at me and tried to stop laughing. He grabbed the bench for support. He looked up at me and said, "Yep, I'm a vamp. you caught me, and like Edward, I can read minds." He managed to somehow get this out with a straight, very red, but admittedly straight face.
This didn't last long, however, because at the look on my face, he burst into another fit of laughter. I crossed my arms and waited for him to become coherent. "Sorry," he said after a few minutes. "It's okay," I said, "but how did you know who Edward was." He looked like he was about to laugh again and said, "Don't worry I'm not actually a fag. Not that there's a problem with it or anything, but I know you want me. Anyway, i read Twilight because of its growing popularity and wanted to be able to judge it for myself. Surprisingly, it wasn't all shit. Most of it was, but not all."
Omigod. that was the EXACT same reason I'd read the books, and the same reaction I'd had. "Omigod! me too!!" I yelled. "Me too what?" he asked. "That's exactly why I read Twilight and how I felt about it!" I said. "Oh really? Wha.." he started.
We ended up talking about Twilight and books and just life in general. Sitting in the open-air locker area I revealed secrets to Ian I hadn't told anybody, and i learned new things about him too. Talking to Ian was so natural. It was like a special bond we shared. Suddenly, my phone started buzzing. I looked down, "Jared" said my caller I.D. "Oh umm Ian, I need to take this," I said. I picked up the phone.
