"This is fucking stupid." Axel threw his bag over at the last desk and sat down next to it. "Watch where you throw that thing!" Marluxia yelled. "Alright I will." Axel aimed it at Marluxia "Watching...watching...aim..." Marluxia gasped and hid behind his school bag. Axel laughed and threw his bag back down. "What's your name?" Axel asked, swinging his keychain around his index finger, the keychain of a small flame. "Marluxia." "I'm Axel. Can I call you Marely?" Marluxia nodded. "Hey, I have a keychain like that but a rose." Marluxia grabbed his school bag and pulled out a small keychain of a flower. "Wanna trade? It'll keep us from fighting with each other."Axel said, tossing his over to Marluxia. Marluxia caught it and did the same with his, Axel catching it with one hand. "What are you here for?" Marluxia asked, sitting on the desk. "Me? I missed another homework assignment." "Another?" Axel smirked. "Yep. What about you Marely?" "Me? I ripped up my homework and threw it in the trash, screaming 'THE ROSES ATE MY HOMEWORK!'" Axel busted out laughing. "Remind me to say that next time!" Axel said. Marluxia smiled brightly. "Alright I will. "Detention is dismissed." said the intercom. "Finally let's get out this hell hole, wanna come to my place and get some take out?" Axel said, grabbing his bag. "Yeah, let's go!" Marluxia said, running over to Axel.
The two bonded, they bonded for months and months as Axel started...growing feelings for him. He kept suppressing them, it kept him up all night, he wanted to be able to hold Marluxia, he loved Marluxia.
"Marluxia, the usual spot today!" Axel said, swinging the rose keychain on his finger. Marluxia smiled, grabbing at the fire keychain on his belt ring. "Of course, princess." "Damn it that joke is so old!" Axel said, laughing. "Sorry princess!" Marluxia said, laughing. "Why do you always swing that keychain Axel?" Marluxia asked, pulling something out from inside the locker. "Because..." "Axel no-" "I'M ON MY PERIOD!!!!!" Axel yelled. "Okay no I'm leaving." "DETENTION!" Mrs. Calbert said, getting ready to write a detention slip. "Do you just pull detention slips out your ass?" Marluxia said, knowing he was going to join detention with him. The teacher sighed. "You know what, I'm letting you two off the hook because I don't wanna deal with ya'll, have a nice day." she walked off. "Perfect" they both said, smiling to each other. "So, the usual spot?"
The two boys sat by the tree next to a clear road, the spot they sat in, everyday. Axel looked down at the keychain he wore, his heart racing, today was gonna be the day. "Look." Marluxia pointed up to see a small flower petal fall from the tree branch and into the hair of the redhead. "I think the trees are telling us we're friends forever!" Marluxia said, smiling. Why couldn't Marluxia convey his feelings? He loved Axel so, it's not fair. Axel laughed. "You sound like a middle school girl." "Thanks Axel." Marluxia said, laughing. "What am I saying? You always sound like a middle school girl." Marluxia pretended to be embarrassed. "B-Baka! Just cuz I'm a middle school girl doesn't mean I'm a kid!" the two of them busted out laughing, now grabbing their left over pieces of lunch and throwing it at each other. Axel grabbed his water bottle and poured it over Marluxia. "Oh no not my mini skirt!" Marluxia said, pretending to be sexy but laughing too hard. "You asshole, do you have a clean sweat towel?" Axel went in his bag and pulled it out his towel and tossed it to him. "Freshly clean." Marluxia caught it with one hand and started drying his pink hair. Marluxia thought to himself as he dried himself off. 'This touched Axel's nipples...' Axel smiled. "Hey you're getting better at catching now." "Yeah, after one too many black eyes." Marluxia smiled back. "Hey Mar, we need to talk." Axel said, a little timid. "Hm? What about?" Marluxia said, smiling. "Uh..." Marluxia tilted his head to the side. "Well, Marluxia I'm gonna be blunt, I really really like you!" Marluxia sat quiet for a moment then busted out laughing. "B-Baka! O-Of course I don't like you! Okay maybe a little...b-baka!" Marluxia teased. Axel kept a stern face. "I'm being serious Marluxia, I like you, I really like you." Marluxia finally let it sink in, Axel loves him? Like...how Marluxia loves Axel? No, no that's crazy! How dare he try and make fun of you for this! You're not gonna let him make a fool outta you, reject him! "Axel, I don't think..." this is for the best Marluxia. "Marluxia please I...love..." "NO! You don't love me! You never did and you never will!" Axel went to hug him, but Marluxia pushed him down. He pushed him hard on the ground, almost like he punched him so hard he knocked the wind out of him. Axel fell back and landed his head on the concrete. Blood oozed out, what have you done? "AXEL?!" Darkness...
