With your illuminating smile
"AXEL!" Riku yelled out, Axel's lips inches apart from Sora's. Sora turned his head to face Riku and got off of Axel. "Riku what's-" Riku moved Sora out the way and grabbed Axel's t-shirt. "YOU ASSHOLE! DON'T TOUCH HIM!" Riku yelled. "Hey he's not property, and he's not even your lover, so how can you really stop him?" Axel asked, smirking. Riku went to throw him a punch but Sora grabbed his arm and held Riku back. "Don't hurt Axel it's not his fault! He didn't know I liked you Riku!" both Riku and Axel's eyes widened and he looked down, tears welling up in his eyes. "Oh...I see...I'll just...go then..." Axel said, walking out the door and grabbing his keys, walking out the door. "Axel!" "Leave him be Sora, he'll come back soon." Sora looked down, tears silently falling down his cheeks. "Damn it, this is all my fault...I should've just stayed away...from all of you-" Riku grabbed the hand that Sora was using to cover his tear stained eyes as he kissed him softly on the lips. Sora's eyes widened as he slowly kissed back. "Riku..." "Sora, please don't cry, please...." Riku clung to him tightly, holding him close, tears dripping onto Sora's shoulder. "I hate seeing you cry...." "Why...do you have feelings for me if we just met?" "Because..." Riku sighed. "We met before." "We...what?" "We've met before, don't you remember Junior year of highschool?" Sora shook his head. "We were dating in Junior high but..."
Flashback
"Where are you taking him?!" Riku yelled, throwing his bag and running to a mysterious man. "He's not safe here sir, surely you understand" "Not safe?! He's safer than you!" "He's causing everyone else, including you to see things Riku! He's a danger to us all, he'll drive us all mad!" Sora was banging on the window, his screams and sobs being muffled by the car door. "He will have to go to schools for the mentally ill, he will have to forget the most important people and important things in his life here if we are to keep him safe." "You can't do that!" "It's too late, I'm sorry.."
"And so...things got really bad for me..."
"Riku, I'm sorry but you're diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa, you need to start schooling in the school for mental illnesses." Riku smiled. He was gonna go see Sora again, Sora...Sora... "Your GPA is high enough to get you into college, so don't worry about finishing highschool." Riku leaned back against the wall. "You'll be rooming in a wing with the other six early graduates that are in your grade level." "Their names?" The doctor handed him a piece of paper with names accompanied with pictures. "Sora!"
End flashback
"And so I came here, I wanted to find you more than anything, to the point I starved myself half to death just to see you..." "Why...don't I remember you?" "I don't know Sora, you weren't supposed to completely forget anyone, just big interactions you had with them which made them very significant." "Why do you still starve yourself?" "It started becoming less acting and more natural..." Sora looked down."I'm so, so sorry...I...completely ruined your life...." "You didn't ruin my life! Hell maybe I'm a little crazy for doing this for you, I don't know." Sora closed his eyes. "You know, I remember you used to love reading, especially poetry, but there was this one book I gave you a long time ago, the book was my way of asking you out, I wrote a little note in your favorite book, I remember you didn't have enough money for it so I bought it for you.." Sora went under his bed and pulled out the book, opening the cover and seeing the loose leaf note inside. "You saved...my confession? Even after you forgot?" "I felt really attached to it, I wanted to keep it, though the paper is ripped and at the bottom it said to write it on the empty scrap next to it..." Riku went over to this small black box and pulled out a scrap of paper, opening it up and putting it together, the scraps matching.
