Vic's POV
I had met Tony at the cafe at 12:00 just like he told me, but my date was running a bit late...30 minutes late. "Is he ever going to show up?" I asked in annoyance.
"He'll be here soon. Just be patient," Tony replied, rolling his eyes once again. I sipped at my 2nd cup of coffee which was almost empty at this point.
"If he's not here within 2 minutes I-" my words were interrupted by the sound of someone running through the cafe door. The boy from the photo had rushed inside, his clothing stained with various colors of paint. A large splatter of purple and blue paint marked his left cheek, and his hair was messy. He looked out of breath as his eyes scanned the cafe. They landed on Tony and I, and he rushed over to meet us. He was half an hour late and covered in art supplies? Nice first impression...
"Hey, I'm so sorry I'm late. My art class ran a little late and I was stuck cleaning up after everyone," he explained to Tony, apologizing for his tardiness.
"It's fine dude," Tony dismissed.
"I guess that explains why you're covered in paint," I laughed, my eyes scanning over his body. The boy was just as hot in real life as the picture. He had a slightly feminine figure, and his eyes were even brighter in person. I knew I was hotter though. I was probably the most attractive guy in the school. He blushed slightly and looked embarrassed from what I had said.
"Kellin, this is Vic. The guy I was telling you about," Tony introduced, motioning his hand towards me.
"H-Hi, it's nice to meet you," he stuttered nervously, extending a hand forward. Did he really expect me to shake his hand? It was stained in paint. That paint could get on my clothes or something, and these clothes were expensive. I could always buy new clothes of course, but I didn't want to go through all that effort just because of this sloppy boy. He noticed I wasn't going to shake his hand so he looked away and wiped it against his pant leg.
"Nice to meet you too," I said, adding a hint of flirtation to my voice.
He didn't seem to pick up on my flirting, being too busy staring at the floor. He looked nervous and shy to meet me, and he couldn't keep eye contact. This was going to be tricky... Tony then stood up from his seat and picked up his coffee. "Well, I'll leave you two love birds alone," he joked before walking off.
Kellin looked at the seat, unsure if he should sit down or not. I rolled my eyes at his nervousness; it was cute, but also a bit annoying. I stood up from my seat and grabbed my coffee. "So, you wanna grab lunch somewhere?" I asked, giving him a friendly smile. Maybe he would warm up to me a little. I did need him in bed after all.
He nodded, not replying with his words. God he really was nervous... He followed me out of the cafe, without saying a word. The silence was awkward so I decided to break it by asking some questions. "So, where would you like to go?" I asked, leaning against the side of the building.
"Umm, I don't know," he mumbled, still not able to keep eye contact with me. God, was I really that scary? Of course I wasn't, I was the most wanted guy in this college. All the guys wanna sleep with me, all the girls want to be me.
"The nervous act is really cute and all, but seriously, I'm not gonna bite your head off. Just talk to me," I explained in the nicest way I thought possible. I felt like I was talking to a five year old. God, I hoped he wasn't like this all the time.
"Sorry, it's just...I haven't been on a date in a really long time, and I was late coming here, and I look like a mess, and I wasn't expecting you to be this hot-I mean-Chinese food. Let's get Chinese food," he stuttered in embarrassment, his words crossing over each other.
