"You've got to be fucking kidding me" Someone in the group cursed.
"No I'm just fucking with you" I laughed and smiled at the guys.
"Avery!" They screamed and ran over to hug me.
"Holy shit!" I laughed out as the all squished me.
"Don't ever scare me like that again princess" Skate laughed out.
"Don't ever call my girlfriend princess" Gilinsky said playfully scolding Nate.
I couldn't help but giggle he's being all protective.
"Ugh my chest hurts" I complained.
"Yeah I know the nurse said you might be in a little pain, she'll come by later with the pills." Gilinsky said.
I nodded and sat back in the bed.
"So neither of you went back to the hotel did you?" I asked looking around the room.
"We haven't even left the hospital" Shawn said with droopy eyes.
"Guys go get some sleep" I said.
"What no.. we're fine" Gilinsky yawned.
"No your not, now go back to the hotel and sleep" I demanded in a more serious tone.
"Shit ain't gotta tell me twice" Nate said and walked out.
"See ya Ava" Sammy said and followed Nate.
Soon they all left besides Gilinsky.
"You should go too Jack" I whispered tiredly.
"No I'm staying here with you, slid over" He said and got in the bed with me.
"Ugh" I groaned pretending to be irritated when really I was happy he stayed.
"What happened today or yesterday, whenever. Made me realize that I can't lose you, because once that bullet hit your chest... I lost it. You were losing air and you keep shutting your eyes, and I thought that was it. Avery... I love you, but you already knew that" He chuckled and played with my hair.
"Please don't leave me again" He said bringing me closer to his chest.
"I won't" I whispered and hugged him back.

Jack was checking me out the hospital and Carter was helping me get dressed.
"Guess you and Jack can't have sex now" Carter sighed.
"Carter!" I shrieked in laughter.
"What?!, I was kidding" He laughed.
"Come help me put my shirt on" I said holding the shirt in my hand.
He got up from his chair and made his way over to me.
"Jack was really worried about you when you were out. I mean we all were but Jack was .... broken" Carter spoke getting the shirt over my head.
"Yeah .....bet he was." I smiled.
We put on the rest of my clothes and started out the door.
I groaned walking out the door, my chest is burning.
"You alright?" Carter asked.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine just help me" I said reaching out for him.
He wrapped my arm around his neck and his arm around my wasit.
"Thank you Carter" I said as we made our way to Jack.
"It's the least I can do" He said putting me in the wheelchair.
"Alright baby you ready to go?" Jack asked.
"Yep" I said looking around making sure I have everything.
"Ok let's go" Carter said and we walked out the door

"No Nash the streamers go over there" Taylor directed.
"Do you have the cake?" Taylor asked me.
"Yeah, Matt ate some" I confessed.
"Snitch!" Matt yelled from across the room
"Dammit Matt really?? ya hungry hippo" Taylor said angrily.
"Mean!" Matt said hurt by Taylor's comment.
"Taylor maybe we should take a break" Shawn suggested.
"No Shawn we can't take a break Avery will be here in 30 minutes and this place isn't ready" Taylor respond.
"Taylor we got you" Sammy said sweeping the floor.
"They're here!" Nate warned.
"Fuck, everybody hide now" Taylor instructed quickly.
As the door open I grew anxious, anxious to have her in my arms even though she wasn't mine.
The lights turned on and we all popped out.
"SURPRISE!" We yelled in unison.
Avery smiled and covered her mouth with her hands.
"Oh my god guys" She whined in a high pitched voice .
"You didn't have to do this for me" She added.
"Yeah but we wanted to" Shawn said.
"But it was my idea" Taylor pitched in.
We all groaned. "Shut up" Matt said his eyes slanted and shaking his head.
He went up to Carter and put his hand around his waist pulled him to his brace and kissed his cheek.
