Kat's POV
I had gotten a variety of responses concerning the Mud Monster otherwise known as Lily from the guys. They ranged from horror to plain humor.
LoonyLou: What the hell is that beast?! O.o
NuttyNialler: I'm dying of laughter. My new wallpaper. Ahahahaha.
ZanyZayn:... Should I even ask? Nope. Nvrmnd. Bye
LovableLiam: She still looks lovely.....
HipsterHarry:...What is that? Uhhh.
To say Lily wasn't amused was an understatement. She was livid. I had to hide out in my room for hours. By the time I was in the safe zone it was around midnight.
" Your partiality to alliterations is worrisome." She said handing me back my phone.
'Please. My contacts are amazing.' I responded. I had convinced her not to kill me by showing her Liam's text. It had appeased her.
"Whatever. We have to go shopping." She said out of the blue. I glanced at her bewildered by her comment.
'Did I hear you correctly or have I misheard what you said. The latter is favorable.' I signed.
" Oh no. We have two days before the guys return and then we'll be spending time with them catching up. So we need to shop right now and get ready for the New Year's party." She said hands are her hips. I knew there was no way out of this. That didn't mean I wouldn't whine.
'Pleeeaaassseee!! I'll do anything,' I saw her raise an eyebrow,'within reason.' Her shoulders sagged at the last part.
"No. We're going. No buts, if, or howevers. We're leaving now." I pouted, being around kids had it's upside. I was master pouter.
"C'mon Kat. I'm being dragged to this shopping spree and you don't see me complaining." My marvelous brother replied coming out of his room.
'You like shopping but I don't. That is why I'm the one complaining.' I answered.
"Don't care. Let's go." Lily snatched her purse off the couch and marched us towards the door.
~~~~~~~AT THE MALL~~~~~~~
" No. That color is horrible. Go away before my eyes burn." Lily snapped. I swear she's made two workers quit already. She was a sweet girl but when it came to shopping she turned into a monster from hell.
' What's wrong with the color?' I asked exasperated. This was the fifth dress I'd tried on. In this store. Out of ten stores. I was going mad.
" It clashes with my dress." She stated giving me a flat look. I rolled my eyes at her reasoning.
' fine but the next dress is my last one. I'll wear it even if it's the brightest orange ever with green stripes. Neon green!' I signaled.
"This is the dress. Go purchase it. Just go. I will cry if you don't do it." She pushed me into the cashier.
' This looks like the first dress I tried on. ' I complained searching for my brother through the crowd. I finally spotted him chatting it up with a pretty girl.
' Lily, the only way you'll make it up to me is to help me with something.' She looked at the direction I was pointing at and her mischievous grin began to form.
" Oh lover! There you are! I was looking all over the mall for you. C'mon you said we could pick out our wedding rings today." Lily exclaimed hooking her arm through Xavier's. The poor sod didn't know what was happening but the girl just looked at him with a scowl on his face. She then proceeded to punch him in the stomach and march off.
After he regained the ability to breath he screamed, " KATHERINE, I WILL DEMOLISH YOU!"
A/N- Hello. I apologize for the lateness. Hope you enjoy the chapter. It was longer but I had to cut it to two parts. Anyways three things.
