Kat's POV I could burst with all the food I've eaten. I was that full. Everyone else looked about the same.
"I think I've gained five pounds." Declared Lily. I nodded my head in agreement. Oh I'll never eat that much again....psshh. Who was I kidding, I'll be eating more in a couple of hours.
"Thank you for this morning and the food but I've got to do some errands. Kat could I speak with you for a second?" Alex asked. I turned to Lily giving her a silent plea. She turned a blind eye and begun to gloat to my brother. Oh she was going to get it.
'Sure Alex. Give me a second.' I signed while glaring at Lil's back and smiling at Alex. It was tedious work let me tell you. I turned to run away but Lily caught me by the shirt and I had no other choice than to go to my death. I just realized I should be an actress. I'm too over dramatic sometimes.
"Well I have some good news to tell you," Alex said once I met him in the hallway. I raised an eyebrow so he could continue. "I'll be moving here in a month or two." I stood there with my mouth open. I smiled weakly and returned the hug he was giving me.
' That's great Alex. Why are moving here though?' I asked once I closed my mouth. I was certain something went in. I could feel it. Oh yuck.
"Well I got a job offer with this publishing company," He laughed at my shocked expression." We'll be seeing more of each other now. Isn't that great?"
' Yeah. Really great.'
"Anyways I have to go pack so I can go back home and start packing. I'll be back before New Year though. I'll see you then. Bye Kat." I closed my eyes and did those meditation technique they say calms you. Deep breaths Kat. You're too young to get heart pains.I opened my eyes and to my utter surprise Lily and Xavier were standing there examining me.
"Do you think we should call an ambulance?"
"No... well she does look pale."
"Yeah but isn't she naturally pale? Remember the 2005 incident."
"She did look like a lobster for weeks." I groaned coming back to life. I ignored my so called friend and brother swapping embarrassing stories and went to the kitchen. All I needed right now was a tub of ice cream and every Harry Potter movie I had.
