*Kendra's POV*
I get in the car with the hottie named Stefan, but lucky Skylar gets to ride solo with the ultimate hottie Damon. We start driving from our small town in Illinois towards the wonderful small town of Mystic Falls in Virginia. I don't know why, but I wanna find out. I see Skylar get out of the car. She has a leather jacket around her shoulders now and I immediately recognize it as her brother Josh's. I sigh and walk up to her, patting her head and messing up her hair. She adjusts her curls and puts in her earbuds. Sky's pretty good at hiding her emotions.
"Rule number one: Don't wander. We will be dividing you into different homes to stay in..." Stefan starts. Sky's not listening to a word as she walks towards the woods. I tug at Izzy and she follows. I brush my hair over my shoulder as I follow. Izzy is humming and I step on a branch, we are bad at being spies. I tackle Skylar suddenly and she laughs in response. I pull out her earbuds.
"SKYLAR!" Kenzi screams. Sky shushes us and points up. We immediately catch on. We climb trees and hide there. Kenzi appears with Lucy and Dakota. They boys come a little later.
"Any luck?" Damon asks. I am holding back a giggle. Izzy jumps from her tree startling Lucy.
"BOO!" She screams. Lucy shrieks and jumps in Stefan's arms. Stefan looks down at her and blushes. She does as well and gets down.
"Aww! LOVE!" Kota giggles and runs. I jump out next, spooking a giggling Kota.
"AHH!" She screams so loudly, birds fly out of trees.
"Where is Skylar guys?" Kenzi asks. Suddenly, a rock flies out of nowhere. Everyone screams, including the guys. Skylar is making a bunch of noises. She suddenly pops out from the tree, hanging upside down from the branch.
"BOO!" She shouts. Everyone screams. Skylar bursts out laughing, until she slips off the branch. Damon gets over there with inhuman speed. Sky stops laughing and look hypnotized by Damon's eyes.
"We have a lot to explain..." Stefan starts.
"Yes you do." Kenzi whispers thoughtfully. She has locked gazes with Stefan now. Skylar slips out of Damon's arms and plugs back in her earbuds. I start texting Dakota.
Dakota: What's up with Sky?
Kendra: Idk, but she's really thinking hard.
Dakota: What about Izzy and Kenzi, they look freaked? Luce is the only one that looks sane.
Kendra: IKR! I hope they don't hurt us.
Dakota: Me too, but at least Stefan looks trustworthy.
Kendra: They always do!
I glance around the girls. Izzy and Kenzi are walking and talking with each other, mostly about which one of us they think could be everyone else. I giggle and shake my head at them. Dakota has her eyes glued on her phone. Skylar is looking around the woods with her earbuds in. I walk over and Damon glances back at us. Skylar doesn't notice, but I do. I giggle and nudge her. She looks up confused, but locks eyes with Damon, smiling shyly. This is a side of Sky I have never seen.
"GIRLS!" I scream and everyone stops, but Sky who is looking down at her. She bumps straight into Damon and falls down. She blushes and stands up.
"Sorry." She whispers.
"You guys, keep walking." I shoo away the boys.
"Why'd you stop us?" Kenzi asks, giggling as Stefan smiles at her.
"For obvious reasons." Dakota lets out.
"It's obvious that Skylar's already got a thing for the eldest Salvatore brother and Kenzi's got a thing for the other one." I sigh. Skylar immediately shakes her head.
"He's like eight years older than me!" She protests.
"Age is only a number!" Izzy giggles uncontrollably.
"But..." Sky tries.
"NO, YOU LIKE HIM SO SHUT UP!" I shout. Her crystal blue eyes start to shine with mischief.
"What about you Kenz? You got the hots for Stefan?" Sky asks, raising an eyebrow. Kenzi starts chasing her. Sky squeals and hides behind me. I laugh and step to the side.
"Sorry to interrupt your girl talk, but we've got to get you inside." Damon states annoyed.
"No, I am not going inside." Sky protests and sits down. Damon looks at us.
"Is she serious?" He chuckles.
"Deadly." Dakota giggles, winking at us. Kenzi sits beside her.
"Me either." Kenzi nods firmly.
"Seriously?" Stefan groans. Kenzi and Skylar sit there with their lips in a thin line.
"You give us no choice." Damon sighs and picks Skylar up, throwing her over his shoulder. Izzy is wide-eyed.
"Kota, are they..." I trail off with teary eyes.
"No. No, they wouldn't." I reassure her. Kenzi is thrown over Stefan's shoulder. We follow in hot pursuit. Kenzi and Skylar sit side-by-side.
"What? Don't pout!" Damon snaps. I look around and notice there's only five of us, not six.
"Where's Lucy?" Izzy asks. Stefan raises his eyebrows.
"The blonde girl with blue eyes." Dakota starts to hyperventilate. I soothe her, stroking her hair.
"What are we gonna do?" Kenzi starts pacing. She and Skylar start whispering to each other in another language. I look at them confused. Skylar stands up and puts her phone away. Her eyes dark with determination. She turns to the Salvatore brothers.
"I know what you are." She states. Kenzi nods as well.
"How did you find out?" Damon growls. Kenzi glares at him.
"We now that you're..." Kenzi starts, but is interrupted by a loud smashing sound.
"Hello loves." A British man greets. The brothers exchange a look as the man walks in.
