*Kenzi’s POV*
Dakota arrives with Rebekah in hysterically tears. Kendra hugs her and walks her outside. All of us are best friends, but all of us are closer to one of the girls. Lucy and Izzy are closer, like Kendra and Dakota. That leaves me with Skylar, we have always been closest. She is the person I go skipping down the sidewalk with singing the Wizard of Oz. We are just that close. She is my Louis and I am her Harry. I watch as she closes her eyes, falling asleep on Damon’s shoulder. I can feel Stefan’s eyes on me, but I ignore him.
“Kenz, can I please talk to you?” He pleads.
“Fine.” I give in to his pleading green eyes. I follow him outside. He loops his arm through mine and we walk through the garden.
“I broke up with Elena today.” He mumbles.
“Really?” I ask, my stomach flipping at his words.
“I am so sorry for leading you on Kenzi.” He whispers, stopping to hold my face in his hands. I find myself, holding him in a tight embrace. He returns it, then we return to walking.
“Stefan, do you like me?” I ask him.
“Of course.” He grins.
“Stefan, you know what I mean.” I whisper. He stops smiling and looks away.
“I really do.” He returns quietly. I look into his eyes, before kissing him lightly on the lips. His lips move with mine in a slow, careful motion. He pulls away and smiles widely.
“I really like you too.” I smile shyly. He chuckles and kisses me again.
“Ew! PDA! Mommy, my eyes!” Kendra shrieks. Leave it to Kendra to ruin the moment. Skylar comes running out, crying.
“Kenzi.” She whimpers and I rush towards her, grabbing her in my arms.
“What’s wrong Sky?” I stroke her hair as I speak softly to her.
“K-Kol, h-he a-and K-Katherine.” She stammers. Stefan’s expression turns from worry to anger.
“Come one Sky, let’s get you calmed down.” I offer. She nods and I walk her up to the door. Kol is pacing, muttering to himself.
“On second thought, how about we go visit Caroline?” I ask her. She nods eagerly, thinking of Caroline’s bubbly personality.
Kenz: Can we come over? Sky’s having guy trouble with Kol.
Care Bear: Of course, get your butts over here!
Kenz: Thanks Care. You’re amazing!
Care Bear: I know I am.
Kenz: On our way! See ya soon.
Care Bear: See ya.
We walk to Caroline’s house and knock on the door. She answers and grins.
“Girls’ night?” She asks knowingly. I wink and she returns it. We all settle down on the couch. She pops in a movie as we munch on popcorn. Skylar falls asleep and Caroline starts asking questions.
“What did Kol do?” She asks.
“He made out with Katherine right in front of Sky.” I tell her.
“That jerk!” She returns.
“I know!” I agree.
“So what about you and Stefy?” She winks. I blush.
“I don’t know. He broke up with Elena and kissed me after telling me he liked me, but he didn’t ask me out.” I sigh. There is a knock on the door and I see Stefan standing there with flowers. I bite my lip as Caroline answers the door.
