chapter 4-

"Hey you better go to the toilet now because it is a long drive" dad told me before we leave "How long is the drive again?" I asked heading to the toilet "About 4 hours" he yelled to me,

"Ok so we are probably about 20 minutes away from the hotel I thought we should stop and get some food before we get there" dad turned to me "Um you should know I would totally say yes its food" He stopped at a fast food place me and dad both get out and go in "Ok so what do you want?" "I don't know dad what are you having" and just pointed the one of the burgers on the bored "Ok yeah just get me that as well then... I'm going to go wait in the car ok" "yeah just make sure the doors are locked"

At times like this, going on road trips, I really wished I had a mum like a big family maybe some more siblings but my bother is mean and had to run away which on my half I should be thankful because I have dad and he is the best. "Here you go" dad gives me the food as he gets in the car "Wait I have to go to the toilet again" "Wait let me come in to stand by the door" "Dad I'm nearly 10 I think I'm old enough" I said back "Ok if you say so" I quickly rushed inside and as I'm about to walk through the first door I bump into a boy around my age with blond hair "Oh sorry" we both say at the same time.

"Ok so are you ready to go to the hotel?" dad asked as I get in the car "Um yes and the pool better be big". We pull up to the hotel and it was so nice wasn't the best hotel ever but it was nice. We walked up to our room and dad let me open the door with the key and as I walked in the room was massive, I ran and jumped straight on the bed "Dibs" I said as I sat back up on the double bed "Haha funny Ivy but that's your bed" he says pointing to the single bed next to the window "Oh... well at least I get the amazing view. I get up and walk over to look out the window we are on the 16th floor of a 20 story building and the view was amazing I could see everything I could have sat there all day watching the view,

"Ok so I know that this is for your birthday but what like present do you want for your birthday?" dad asked making me look at him "Oh um I really want my ears done" I said "Is that all?" "Yeah there's nothing else I really want"

"Ivy...hey Ivy are you there?" I get snapped out of my thoughts by Troian calling my name and I find myself touching my ear "Yeah sorry what?" "We lost you for a moment... what where you thinking about?" Luke asks "Oh just a trip me and dad went on when I was about 10" "Oh yeah tell us about it" I just look at the both of them "Oh well surprisingly me and my dad... oh I'm sorry our dad travelled to Hillfare for my birthday it was the best time"

"I really wished we grew up together you sounded like a lot of fun" Luke says after we tell a couple stories about each other "Yeah she is" Troian says "I was" I just look down at my hands " I haven't been the same for at least 3 maybe 4 years now" I just look up at Troian and she places her hand on mine "So um do you have your license and your own car?" Troian asks taking the subject of me and I just smile at her "Um yeah well that's my mums car but my cars broken at the moment so I begged her to use her car" "Nice... aren't you meant to be at school" "Well yeah but mum gave me it of because of what's happened" "Oh ok"

We sit in silence for about 10 minutes until Luke gets a call and walks out to answer it "So what do you think?" Troian asks "He is really nice I can see a lot of my dad in him" "And he is so hot" Troain adds on after I finish and I just laugh "Does that mean you think my dads hot?" I ask " Um why do you think I'm friends with you" "Oh great thanks for that" I say hitting her on the arm "You know I was kidding your amazing and that's why I'm friends with you" "Awww Troian your amazing as well" "So what are we all talking about here" Andy says as he sits down "Nothing...Nothing don't worry about it"

"Ok so I know we only just met and all so don't worry you can say no but I was talking to my mum and she thinks it's a good idea..." "Just get to the point Luke" Troian says I just give her a look "Ok well I was thinking do you want to come stay with us for a little while?"
