Ally and Harry's meeting that afternoon hadn't lasted as long as they desperately wanted it to, as people began to hear about Harry's location and started to pile into the coffee shop. Ally dragged him behind the counter and through the kitchen towards the back door of the shop so they both could make a swift and easy exit. She quickly grabbed her hand bag and her cream woolen jumper before walking out the door.

"Where is you car?" Ally asked as they both made their way to the small parking lot that belonged to her and her fellow co workers.

Harry lifted his arm and awkwardly scratched the back of his neck as he realized his current situation.

"Uh, out the front of the shop"

Ally rolled her eyes and gave Harry an exasperated look before sticking the key into her car door to unlock it.

"I'll be fine. Not like it hasn't happened to us before"

Ally froze with her fingers under the handle on the door at the mention of us. Harry noticed her sudden reaction, and tried to change the subject as quick as he could. The last thing be wanted was for Ally to be uncomfortable.

"Um, how long have you had your car? You didn't drive this when we were togeth-"

Harry stopped mid sentence and realized he wasn't helping the situation any more. Ally bit her lip and closed her eyes, although she was slightly amused.

"I'm sorry, Ally, I-"

Harry was lost for words for a moment as Ally let go of the door handle and gazed up at him with a humorous expression on her face. She shook her head slightly and pursed her lips.

"It's okay. I find it funny"

Harry frowned at her response "Why?"

Ally shrugged and folded her arms across her chest, feeling the goosebumps rise on her arms and legs.

"I don't know. It's just amusing as it is startling"

Harry watched the fog come from her mouth as she spoke into the cold winter air. He noticed her hair was beginning to get damp from the light dusting of frost that had started to settle.

He tucked his hands into the pockets of his warm jacket, and Ally suddenly wished she had brought a warmer jumper for herself.

"I didn't expect to see you here" Harry mumbled as he watched himself kick around the small gray stones of the parking lot with his boot.

Ally swallowed "I didn't expect to see you here. Out of anybody, it had to be you"

Harry's heart dropped as he heard the words come out of Ally's mouth like a bullet wound to his chest. It had to be you. He lifted his head slightly to look into Ally's unreadable blue eyes as she stared back at Harry.

"I know. I should've walked back out as soon as you turned around behind the counter"

Ally's lips parted, and she felt slightly taken aback by Harry's plain string of words.

"No, I-I didn't mean it like that, Harry. I meant that-that I just didn't think it would be you" Ally said "I never would've thought I'd see you walk through those doors"

The look on Ally's face as Harry gazed down at her made him want to reach out to cup her red freckled cheeks in his hands. Everything from the past year had suddenly hit him all at once. The regret of leaving her, the sounds of her loud cries when they used to fight, the soft moans that used to echo in Harry's large bedroom. It all started to overwhelm him, and his chest started to hurt at how much he actually missed her.
