His name felt like acid on the tip of her tongue as she stared at him from behind the counter.

She knew she looked ridiculous, standing there with spilled coffee grounds over her shoes with her lips parted and eyes widened in nothing but utter shock.

"I'm sorry, I-" she managed to mumble as she reached up to scratch the back of her neck.

Harry knew she wasn't prepared for this. He had no clue that Ally had gotten a part time job there. He wasn't even sure if she still lived in London after the six months of them being apart. He had thought she would've been at a prestigious university in America by now, since she had a burning passion for photography. But, she was there, behind the counter of the small industrial style coffee shop with lame Christmas decorations everywhere.

He could imagine her standing on a step ladder, trying to tape the lights up to the wooden beams but struggled because of how short she was.

Ally finally had the courage to move her feet, and stepped away from the spilled coffee grounds. She squatted down to pick up the coffee filter and carefully sat it in the small sink next to the machine.

"Um" she began, her voice shaky as she tried to act normal and treat him like any other person who came through the coffee shop, but it was incredibly hard. She looked behind Harry and found that people had began to stop and stare through to glass, realizing who was in there. She noticed that some of the booths had young people in it who snuck in behind Harry.

"I-I can't believe it's you"

Ally's eyes quickly averted back to Harry as he stood there in his over sized suede coat with his hair tied up. His voice sounded like a peaceful piano melody to Ally's tiny and curious ears, and it was something she missed dearly.

"Yeah. It's me" she mumbled, standing still behind the counter.

Ally felt her whole face start to burn as Harry gazed at her. His piercing green eyes had been fixated on her beautiful long hair, which had been tied back into a loose pony tail with some stray waves hanging around her gorgeous freckled cheeks. He noticed her hair was different, and he realized she'd dyed it a silver gray. It didn't appeal to Harry as much as her natural dark blonde hair did. God, he loved her natural colour.

"Uh, did you want anything?" Ally asked, and mentally slapped herself at how rude her question had come out.

Harry didn't take it as rude, but instead smiled lightly as he leaned on the bench with his elbows, resting his chin on the palms of his hands.

"Yes, please. I'd like a small vanilla latte. In a glass, please. Not take away"

Ally bit her bottom lip slightly as a small memory came gushing into her mind, and she couldn't help but let a small smile slip. She turned around to face the coffee machine and grabbed a small latte glass to place in the machine.

"With a shot of the caramel cream?"

Ally turned her head slightly to catch a glimpse of Harry to see if he caught on to her joke.

Harry had been drunk one night with Ally after one of his shows in America, and they both had managed to stumble into a twenty four hour McDonald's restaurant in the city. 'Yeah, can I have a, uh, vanilla latte with a shot of that caramel cream' were the slurred words that Harry had put together out of his mouth when he was asked what he wanted, and Ally had burst into hysterics beside him. It was those happy memories that Ally relished in.

Harry smiled as soon as Ally had quoted his drunken words, and he lightly shook his head.

"You still remember that.."
