"I'll grab your bags, sweethearts" Anne took Ally and Harry's over night bags and smiled at them as Ally took her ugg boots off the front door. She smiled shyly at Anne's bubbly mood towards her, and Harry gently put his firm hand on her tiny shoulder to reassure her, and her whole body relaxed instantly.
"You alright, love?" Harry whispered into her ear once Anne had disappeared to put Ally's bag in one of the rooms, and his warm breath on her neck sent shivers down her spine.
"Yeah" Ally rested her cheek on Harry's knuckles and closed her eyes for a few seconds as he held his hand on her shoulder, and Harry just wanted to grab her face and plant kisses all on her gorgeous skin.
"Good" he smiled "I'm so glad that you came"
"And so am I!" Anne beamed as she came down the stairs and into the kitchen "It's been too long"
Ally nodded slowly before gazing up to Harry, and then back to Anne "It has, hasn't it"
"Are you both hungry? Can I get you anything?" Anne mused "Gem and Rob have just ducked down to the grocery store to grab some stuff for tea tonight. I can ask them to grab anything you two might want?"
Ally looked up at Harry once again to see what he wanted to do, but he simply shook his head and smiled.
"No thanks, mum. I was just gonna take Ally out for a bit in the snow. I think she's missed it here"
Ally lowered her head with slight embarrassment as her cheeks started to flare up. Harry was right, she did miss it there with Harry's wonderful family, and the positive attention that Anne had been giving her had made her want to cry with all sorts of emotions. She couldn't wait to see Gemma most of all, and Ally thought that she could have been the one she missed most out of his family.
"The snow has been quite generous this winter. Do you have gumboots you two?" Anne asked as she wiped down the kitchen island bench "You'll need them"
Harry looked down at Ally as she realized she didn't have a pair with her. She never even thought about that.
"You can wear Gem's boots, love" Harry smiled down at her "You might want to change into warmer clothes too"
Ally nodded in agreement before turning to Anne "Which room did you put my bag in?"
"I put it in Harry's room, darl"
Ally thanked her before excusing herself and headed upstairs.
Harry's bedroom, or rather his old bedroom, had made Ally happy as soon as she opened the old creaky door. The floor was covered in worn out gray carpet, and the walls still had the pale blue wallpaper, just like the last time she stayed. She ran her fingers over the dusty pine desk that sat against the wall, with Manchester United posters stuck above it. He still had his small flat screen television and his Play Station 3 on the corner of the desk, gathering even more dust from not being used.
One thing that stood out to her most, was the flimsy wooden easel on the other side of the room. She took a few steps toward it, and seen Harry's name in messy writing still on a piece of masking tape that wrapped once around the leg of the easel. She looked down at the small rusted metal bucket that was filled with stained paint brushes from being used time and time again, and she made a mental note to ask Harry if he still painted.
Ally found her bag on Harry's double bed, and began looking through her bag for a pair of jeans and her brown coat. She quickly put her jeans over her leggings and chucked on her brown trench coat, as well as a cream knitted beanie and matching scarf. As she was about to grab her professional camera out, she heard a soft knock and quickly turned around to see Harry leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed over his chest. He gazed over at her as she held the black camera bag in her hands.
