Ally noticed the tension in the air as her and Harry drove home from his parents. He kept a firm grip on the leather steering wheel, his eyes focused solely on the motorway in front of them. She had no damn clue what was wrong, and she suddenly thought it could've been what happened last night between them. Her heart began to beat faster at the thought of Harry having regrets about it.

"Is everything okay?"

Harry blinked his eyes a few times before clutching the steering wheel even tighter, and Ally seen his knuckles go white.

"Yeah. I'm fine"

Ally wasn't satisfied with his answer, and she wanted to keep pushing him to tell her what's wrong, even though she knew he would get more angry.

"Is this about what happened? Last night?" she asked timidly as she looked to the side towards him, trying to find some sort of reassurance in his eyes.

Harry sighed and took one hand away from the steering wheel and placed it on Ally's upper thigh.

"No, love" he answered, and dug his fingers lightly into her skin "It wasn't about last night"

Ally kept her suspicious gaze on Harry as he drove, and he shifted slightly under her stare.

It's for the money, he chanted in his head, just for the money, not to hurt Ally.

The whole trip home was uncomfortably quiet, and Ally occasionally took glances at Harry, but his stern expression never changed.

Once Harry stopped the car in Ally's driveway back in London, he got out and grabbed her bag, following Ally silently to the front door.

"Um, mum is going away tomorrow and Saturday night in Manchester, if you wanted to, uh, come around? For a night, or two?"

Ally studied Harry's facial expression, but she couldn't tell anything. He stood in front of her with her bag still in his closed fist, and his eyes were off somewhere down the road.

Harry didn't know what to do. He knew that the more time he spent with Ally, the more guilt he would be feeling, especially after that phone call that morning. He had to act like everything was fine, which, it was. For now.

Harry sighed after finally coming to an agreement with himself "Of course. You're working tomorrow, aren't you?"

Ally nodded, her mood lifting significantly higher "I finish at five thirty, but I need time to shower and organise tea before you come-"

"-Don't worry about dinner, love" Harry smiled as he gave Ally her over night bag "I'll grab a pizza or something on the way"

Ally's eyes lit up "What about McDonald's?"

Harry chuckled and shook his head "I was waiting for that, and yes, I can get Maccas for you if you really want it"

Ally nodded quickly before picking up her bag, not wanting to say goodbye for the day just yet, but Harry hastily bent down and gave Ally a small peck on her cool cheek. She felt her stomach became crowded with floods of butterflies, and she mentally scolded herself for it.

"I'll see you tomorrow evening, okay?" Harry smiled as he stepped off the front porch.

"Yeah" Ally waved "I'll text you when I'm home from work"

Harry nodded and quickly got into his car. Ally watched as the Range Rover pulled out of her drive way and down the street, confusion and worry flooding her curious mind. She shrugged her thoughts away, deciding to herself that she was over thinking everything. She knew her and Harry were fine. She was happy, ecstatic, excited about how everything had come to be the past week, but equally as shocked at how quickly it happened. Ally picked up her back off the porch, and walked into to her happy mother.
