The rest of the way home consisted of me showing Harry where to download the ringtone and him showing me the way to the grocery store that reminded me sort of a Wal-Mart.
Stepping into the store, we were greeted with heavenly warm air hitting our faces. I rubbed my hands together to try to warm them up, seeing it as I lost my gloves last winter and never felt like buying new ones. Harry grabbed a cart and trailed behind me, absentmindedly humming to the song playing over the speakers.
I threw various items, for both myself and the boys, in the cart. I smiled when I saw Harry putting candy, chips, and soda in the cart, and when questioned about it he just said it was for Niall. We continued up and down the aisles, and it seemed like we were the only two in the store besides the people who actually work here. We soon found our selves venturing close to the toy section, Harry running over to where they had hula hoops on display. He picked one up and tried his hardest to keep it up on his hips, while I stood there trying my hardest not to laugh.
"Do you need help?" I asked in between my giggles.
"Nope. I got this." He replied. Not wishing to see him make a fool of himself any longer, I walked over to the display and picked up a yellow hula hoop for myself.
"I'm going to teach you how to do this 'cause you definitely have no idea what you're doing." I said as I stood with my feet slightly apart, holding the hula hoop against my right hip. Harry mirrored my actions, and I swung the hoop once to get it started.
"The trick is to keep your feet apart and just move your hips; not your whole body."
I swayed my hips a little bit and the hoop picked up speed. By this time, Harry had stopped trying and was just watching me. Deciding to try show off, I walked towards him, all while still hula hooping.
He clapped as I let the hoop drop to my feet, picking it up and putting it back,
"Where did you learn how to do that?" His raspy voice asked.
"No idea. Just comes naturally to me." I smiled as we continued to the checkout lanes, me paying for my stuff and Harry paying for the boys stuff. Grabbing the bags we headed back out into the cold, rainy night. The wind whipped around violently and blew the rain straight into our faces. I squinted, trying to keep the rain out of my eyes, and we picked up our pace.
Once the house was in view, we jogged a bit to get into the warmth, and out of the rain. Walking up the stairs, I rubbed my hands together once again. My face was numb, blocking out the previous pain from falling on it. I followed behind Harry and nearly jumped back when I saw a figure at the top of the stairs.
In the dim light stairwell, I could make out it was a female, her arms crossed and a scowl on her face. Her bleach blonde hair and boobs that looked like they cost her roughly $7,000 came into view as we made it further up the stairs.
"Babeeeeee! Where were you? Did you forget our date?" Her voice screeched and I flinched. Her voice resembled something of a cat in a blender. Harrys face paled, probably now remembering the 'date' he had with the barbie doll at the top of the stairs.
"I'm so sorry Savannah. I totally for-" He was cut off by the barbie bitch, now know as Savannah.
"Who is this bitch? Are you cheating on me with this skank?" She said as her gaze moved to me, tears welling up in her eyes. I raised my eyebrows, waiting for her to say one more thing about me. Instead Harry hugged her, calming her down, not even once bothering to defend me.
I scoffed pushing past him, only to see barbie bitch glare at me as I unlocked the door to my apartment and walked in. What the fuck was her problem?
