Feelings Taking Over - Chapter 36

Klaus places his lips on Elizabeth and kisses her softly. He pulls away a little and their eyes connect. She couldn't breathe, she was blown away from the softness of lips on her.

- Elizabeth's P.O.V -

Why can't I breathe? .. Something telling me that I need to kiss him back but why though?... he kidnapped me, h-he got a witch to make me evil for a while. My crush for him back then is coming back to me. I-I need to kiss him. I look at his kissable lips, blinked a couple of times and moved back a little. Then Klaus smirk appears. My heart beat somewhat faster. "Are you alright love?", he asked. I took deep breathe and looked at him, wondering if I should kiss him or ignore this attraction. I never got that chance to kiss him before, this might be my chance to fell what its like, to see do I have feelings for Klaus after all this time. The only way to find out is ... is to k-kiss him. I took a step forward, swallowed hard and look at his lips. Klaus took a step forward and my heart beats faster. I felt like I couldn't speak and if I tried, I would stutter. Damn it, I need to kiss him but my body is literally swirling of nerves and butterflies.

"Is there a problem love?", he asks me. I look at him and I replied,  "I don't know Klaus..". He looks at me with a smile and then pours himself a small glass of bourbon. I bite my lip whilst watching him. "You know, ... Elizabeth. You either answer ...", he started to say but I cut him off. "Yes or no. I know but I don't know which one to answer as you.... you're ...". I paused and he asks me another question. "I'm what love?".  "You're distracting me", I blurted out. He raised an eyebrow in surprise. "I'm distracting you... hmm... interesting", he said as he places his glass down and walks around the room. I sit down on the chair in the corner and watches him walks. My eyes start to look at Klaus from head to toe. Then he caught me off guard with a question, "How am I distracting you... Elizabeth?".  Just like that my breathe disappeared and it managed to grab it back. I breathed heavily and I glanced at Klaus and he was sipping his drink a few times.

"Stop it Klaus!", I shouted. He looked at me and says, "Stop what love. I'm not doing anything. Would you care to tell me what am I doing to make you say stop?". I sighed and said, "I'm not telling you Klaus". I stood up, placing my hands firmly on my hips. Klaus raises his eyebrow eyeing me up and down a couple of times. I noticed his eyes looking at me. "Checking me out were you?", I asked taking a step forward. "Maybe", he spoke trying not to smile. I sighed as I noticed a him trying not to break into a smile. I moved another step closer and he stood up. "Let me ask you a question Klaus", I said quite firmly. "Sure love", he said looking at me with puppy eyes.  "Answer me honestly. What is wrong with you?", I asked. He bursts into a chuckle and said, "I don't know what you mean, love. There's nothing wrong with me I assure you. Why do you think there is?". He gave me a question but an answer which really didn't answer it for me. "I don't get you Klaus. You try not smile. You checked me out for some reason. Y-you trying to flirt with me or something like that. You..", I started to speak but he cuts in once again. "I never flirt, it must be my charms getting to you". "Your charms?... As if", I spat and took his glass out of his hand and finishes the last bit of the bourbon. I gave him the glass back and walked away a little feeling his eyes looking at me.

I heard the sound of the glass being placed back on the table. "Thanks for mixing my emotions and wasting my time but I got to go now", I said walking towards the door. Klaus hand grabs my arm and pulls back. As he pulls me back and fell onto his chest, my heart was starting to pause itself. Klaus places his hand underneath my chin and lists my face up a little. My eyes looked at his and I felt the butterfly feeling once more. I took a step away and turned around. I felt Klaus walking up behind me and then he whispers, "I can feel your heartbeat moving faster". I swallow hard again and look down feeling his arms wrapped around my waist.  I knew I couldn't ignore this feeling even though I'm trying to. I have feelings for others like Damon,... maybe Kol which I can shrug off but those feelings I had for Klaus are now creeping back to me.

"Klaus", I breathed out. He looks at me with a smile or possibly a smirk on his handsome face. "I never told how I felt about you from time we met love", he spoke softly. "How did you feel for me back then Klaus?", I asked. We both sat down in the chairs that were placed in the room. "When I first saw I saw you looking at the sky and I noticed your beauty instantly. The times we walked around together to smiling and having fun like friends do. I soon grew feelings for you like -like a crush you may say". I froze from those words. "C-crush .. on.. me?", I stuttered. "Yes love", he replies. My heartbeat went out of control. "Klaus, d-do you trust me?", I asked. "I do why, do you ask?", he asks back. "Just trust me", I replied. "Close your eyes", I said softly. Klaus closed his eyes and I moved out of my chair and lean towards him. I close my eyes and kiss his soft lips and whispers, "I had a crush on you as well back then". Klaus opened his eyes instantly and noticed I moved from him to standing against the wall. He stood up, speeded over to me and asks, "You felt the same?". I simply replied with, "Yes". Just like that his lips smacked into mine.
