Afraid - Chapter 42

- Damon's P.O.V -

Elizabeth is missing? ... That isn't good, wonder where could she be? .. I need to find her.  I care for her but where would she go? ... Wait a minute did she went to him?... She couldn't of, surely.. I need to go there to see if my head is thinking right. "Elizabeth where ever you may be, I'm coming for you".

Klaus was staring at the female that was outside his house and noticed she looked similar to Elizabeth. "Surely that isn't Elizabeth?", he thought to himself but then she raised her head a little and he couldn't believe his eyes.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth raised her head a little a lets out deep sigh and took a deep breathe in and noticed a person by a window on the second floor of the house and then noticed the figure disappearing.  She looked at the door and slowly moved some more and finally reached the house. As she about to knock, the door opened. "I...finally... found you.. Klaus", she breathed out slowly. Klaus was surprised that she found him after what he did. Klaus caught Elizabeth in his arms and laid her on the couch nearby the door way. He noticed how weak and pale she looked. "K-Klaus... please...please help me", she breathed out. He nodded knowing what to do. He lift his wrist and bite it. He moved it to Elizabeth's mouth as she opens it. Klaus lets her drink some of his blood and let her fall asleep. "Elizabeth, what a brave and foolish girl you are", he whispered and gently kissed her forehead.

An hour later, Elizabeth awoke and feel somewhat better.  She looked around and noticed the door and was about to leave then she heard a voice. "Going so soon?".  "Klaus I have to go", She said. "You didn't thank me for helping you back alive and you shouldn't really be moving around like this that quick", he said with a slight smile. "I know but I can't stay here okay?... I have to go", she said. Klaus walks down the stairs towards Elizabeth.  Then he speaks, "I would love to hear them two words love. Also where are you heading?". "To my house of course and thanks for your blood that healed me", she replied. Elizabeth was kinda desperate to go but Klaus noticing isn't good. The only way out of this is to use magic. He kept walking until he noticing whispering words, so he speeded down to her and turn her neck enough to click and knock her out for a while. He didn't bother to pick her up this time. 

A little while later, Elizabeth awoke quietly and noticed Klaus looking at his fireplace and then took the chance and escaped. She speeded out as fast as she can. She was now in the forest, so she took a deep breathe and leaned against the tree. Soon enough she slips down and sits down the ground.

Meanwhile...

- Damon's P.O.V -

I was still searching for and yet no sign. Hold up, I can hear breathing. I speeded towards the sound and noticed Elizabeth. She noticed me and then she ran. Why though? It's only me. I went after her. "Please go away", I hear her whisper. "Elizabeth, it's me Damon", I whispered back obviously she didn't hear me as there was no answer.

- Elizabeth's P.O.V -

There I was leaning against the tree to take to breather then I noticed someone, so I decided to run for it and the person is following me. "Please go away", I whispered hoping that they will take that message but no luck yet. I just want to have a break from running but doesn't look like I can. I looked back and I see no one. So, I stopped and took another deep breathe after running. All of a sudden, I felt someone's grip on me and wanted to scream but the person covered my mouth. "Hey Elizabeth, it's only me", the person whispered in my ear. Wait, I know this voice. "D-Damon?", I asked. I felt him smile weakly. I turned around and hugged him. "Thank god your alright", he spoke softly. Then he looked me in the eyes with his arms on my shoulders. "I heard from Bonnie you went missing so I looked for, why are you out here alone?", he asked in concern. "W-well, I knew what to do to get myself better but it didn't 100% work out the way I wanted it too. He looked at me confused. Then we heard a voice, that I didn't want to hear... Klaus.  "Elizabeth, where are you? ... You suppose to be resting not leaving like I told you to", he asked aloud.

Damon looked at me and we both speeded away as fast as we can. "You went to him?", he asked me. "No time for questions Damon, ask me later when we get somewhere safer than here", I said and he nodded in response.

I just hope he doesn't find us before we reach a safe place.
