Chapter 11

The next morning i found ash sitting by my bed. "Well good morning beautiful." he said. How did he get in here? How long has he been in here? I sat up and scratched the back of my head. When i removed the covers i felt really cold all of a sudden. "Why is it so cold in here?" i asked. Before he could respond, Damien walked in with an outfit on a hanger. He looked alright but i could tell he was still upset over last night. "What are you doing in here before me?" he asked ash. "I thought it would be nice to watch her overnight to make sure she dosen't get kidnapped while she is asleep." he smirked. So he was the one who whispered the spell in my ear. "She was a bit restless last night but i took care of it." he said.

I hope Damien dosen't get the wrong idea and flip out. He walked over to me and looked me in the eye then searched my face and my neck. It seemed like he didn't find anything so he settled a little then handed me the hanger. "Go get changed." he said. I took the hanger and went into the bathroom.

As i was changing, i noticed somethings about the outfit that was kind of familiar to me. It reminded me of the jumpsuit that i saw black widow wear in the movies except it was a forest green instead of black and it had a utility belt. When i put it on it felt comfortable and easy to move in and it had breathable fabric. When i stepped out, Damien had walked around looking at me. "If you want you could make the sleeves shorter." He said. "I can?" I asked. Then he took each sleeve and trace his finger from my wrist up my arm stopping at about two inches from my shoulder and that whole part got shorter. he did the same thing on my other arm. "You could do that if you want them longer or shorter. It's charmed to be like armor so nothing could harm you and it's pretty functional and easy to customize." He explained. 

As i strapped on my boots, Damien explained some rules to Ash in the hall. I don't know exactly what they are saying and part of me doesn't want to know. I slipped the key chain Ash gave me into my boot and grabbed two hair ties and wore them on my wrist. I stepped in the hallway and saw my parents there with Damien and Ash. Damien explained everything to them later last night. Apparently my mom is the one who made my outfit. They both charmed it so i would be protected. I could tell they were sad. "We don't want you to leave." my mom cried. She hugged me so tight i could barely breathe. "But it is fate and we don't doubt the oracles predictions but promise us you will be careful." my father said. Then he hugged me as well. I can't believe after just finding my birth parents and where i belong, i have to leave again. "Your majesties i promise you, i will protect her with my life and return her home safely as soon as i can." Damien said and then he bowed. Ash stated the same promise and also took a bow. 

My parents saw us off at the front gate. They kissed me on each cheek and my father gave me my very own sword. It was customly made by the royal blacksmith. It wasn't heavy and i was able to wield it easily. I put the sword in the hilt on my belt. I rode on the same horse as Damien and ash rode behind us. After what seemed like four hours, we rested in a part of the fairies forest not to far from the withered woods. We fed the horses and ate a little snack ourselves. Then ash handed me a pill that was blue, green, and white. "What's this for?" i asked "It's a magic pill. You swallow it, and if you are more than twenty feet away from us it will activate so we know where to find you." he said. So this was how they planned to find me when i get kidnapped.

Damien took the pill from my hand and looked at it. "How will you be able to find me?" i asked  "Me and Damien will feel a sense that will lead us straight to you." he explained. I took the pill from Damien and swallowed it. I want them to be able to find me as soon as possible when i get kidnapped.

After a few minutes of rest, we resumed with our journey. After about another two hours, we were finally in the withered woods. As we rode along, i couldn't help myself but feel a little afraid. I could see that some of the trees have faces. This makes me feel like snow white when she traveled through the dark enchanted forest. I held onto Damien tightly. We moved slowly through the forest and i don't know why. Then we stopped. "Why are we stopping?" i whispered. He didn't answer me. It was silent. Ash was beside us now and he was looking around. So was Damien. Then we continued on. "Where exactly are we supposed to find the seer?" I asked. "He has a cave that he lives in but he doesn't like being disturbed. But, if he knows why we are here then he should show himself to us." Ash said.
