Chapter 17

When morning came Ash was gone. I don’t know where he went and I can’t just wonder around the castle. I heard a knock on my door and then he was there. Apparently he just went to change and get breakfast.

“Sorry I wanted you to wake up to breakfast in bed.” He said.

“Oh well thank you.” Ash set the tray by my bed and then leaned in for a kiss.

“I think I figured out a plan that could work without you becoming the Metallica Queen.” He said between kisses. I pulled back slightly.

“What did you come up with?” Ash sat on the side of my bed. He never took his eyes off of me. Those blue eyes of his were all I can focus on.

“What if we use your new powers to actually take him down? We can defeat them. The war is only going to get worse and who knows what else can happen. Especially if you become queen. Since you have some of their powers you won’t be badly affected. And the fact that he wants you anyway, I don’t think they will hurt you. If we can just slip into their realm undetected and we fight, you can get close enough to Machine and can take him down.” I had to think. His plan sounded good, but the whole point of me being queen is so no one has to get hurt anymore. Ash can see the worry on my face. I really didn’t want to consider this plan.

“You don’t like it? Of course I don’t have the full strategy right now but it will be a good one. And it will be good enough for everyone to agree on.” He said. I got out of bed. I went to my closet to find something to wear. I pulled out a simple long white skirt and green top. Of course I also had to grab more underwear as well. Ash was still talking as I dressed.

“There are millions plans drafted out. We just have to pick the best one. I know you don’t want your parents to know you are back but it will best to inform them of your intentions and your powers. I am pretty sure they would agree with my plan.” He said. After I dressed I went over to him and kissed him.

“Stop talking. I don’t really like what I am hearing.” I said when I pulled back.

“I really did do a lot of thinking when I came up with my plan in the abyss. I considered practically everything. I even learned how to control my powers to the T and even figured how they are connected with my emotions since they were laced within the love potion.” Ash then pulled me down to where I was sitting on his lap. His arms wrapped around me.

“I don’t like the idea of you ruling over those creatures. The only queen you should be is my queen. Then when the time comes around you will be the Apollian Queen.” He said softly. Just as Ash leaned in to kiss my neck, Damien stormed through the door. He saw us. How we were.

“Figures I leave you to watch her and you do this. Have you forgotten we are at war?” Damien said. The anger in his voice made me feel really guilty. I stood in front of him. Blocking him from Ash.

“Damien don’t. Not now.” But Damien just ignored me.

“When are you going to drill it in your head? She doesn’t love you.” Damien said.

“If she didn’t love me would she have slept with me? Would she have been on my lap? Would we have slept together all night?” Ash said. Did he really think provoking him was the best thing to do right now? Damien looked at me and just stared.

“Do you really love him?” He asked me. I couldn’t lie. Especially since my eyes were glowing that same pink from last night. I nodded.

“Do you still love me?” He asked. I nodded again.

“I love you both but this shouldn’t be the issue right now. We have a War to deal with.” Damien looked away from me. He was hurt about what I just confirmed. Ash walked up and put a hand on my shoulder. I felt a tingle in my fingertips. My powers reacting to my love. I pushed it back.

“Ash we can use your plan but we will not need an army when we are in the realm. I just need you and Damien with me.” I said. I finally know exactly what to do.

Sorry it took so long to update and sorry that it is short but don't worry. I will finish this story. Just wait and see i have a lot of plans for the ending and possibly a sequel. Remember to vote, comment, share and be sure to check out my other works too. :)
