chapter 10

The next morning I woke up groggy and with a headache. I hate crying. I haven’t cried since my mother died. I got in the shower and let my mind clear out as the hot steaming water rolling down my body. I have to focus on my pack nothing else should matter. I sighed as I got out of the shower. I need to speak to my father. I let my mind drift and starting thinking about my date tonight with Angel. Hmm maybe I should start calling him Red. I wonder what we will do.  My mind drifted again and I thought of Death and winced.  I pushed him out of my mind and hurried to my father’s office.

“Daddy?” I peered in and saw in him at his desk. He smiled at me and motioned me in.

“Hey baby girl what’s going on?” He looked up at me.

“I’m wondering if we are having any problems with any packs. That is why the other Alphas are here right? An alliance?” I looked at him pointedly

He swore under his breath. “I didn’t want you to know. I didn’t want you to have to worry. I don’t know who but a pack is conversing with the hunters trying to take us over. I do know that it is one of the alphas here.” He explained to me and I sat back in shock.

“I’ll help you find out what I can.” He cut me off with a growl.

“I don’t want you involved.” He snarled.

“To bad!” I snapped. “This is my pack to! Plus I have a date with Red tonight.”

He snarled furiously “Fine! But I swear if he hurts you I will rip out his heart!”

I laughed and got up to hug him. “I will be fine!”

I left my father in his office to calm down and walked outside.  I felt someone staring at me and I looked around nervously. Whoever is watching me is giving me a bad feeling.  I didn’t see anyone and I shifted around unsettled.

“Hey” Someone yelled out to me and I turned towards the voice. I smiled at them.

Red was jogging towards me. “We are still on for tonight right?” He asked me hopefully.

I smiled. “Yes of course!”

“Then why aren’t you getting ready?” He teased me. “Don’t girls take all day to get ready?”

I snorted and laughed. “If you haven’t noticed I am not most girls. So what are we doing on this date?”

“Well my dear it is a surprise.” He smiled and took my hand as we started to walk.  I felt a blush come across my face. “Well tell me one thing. Heels? Or no?”

He looked at me amused. “No.”

I smiled and nodded at him my gaze traveling over his face and landing on his lips. I blush again remembering our kiss.  He leaned towards me slowly.

“ARIANNA! ARIA! THEY ARE AT IT AGAIN!” Emma yelled running towards us.

I growl in frustration. I know who exactly she is talking about Dean and Jess.  They are constantly fighting over stupid things.

“Aria! Please hurry! They have shifted.” She said panicking.

Well apparently they are really angry this time. Emma turned and started running back and I took off after her. Red trailing after us even though He could have easily outran us. We came up to the wolves. Snarls and growls filled the air along with the scent of blood. Both wolves had bites and scratches on them and kept attacking each other. The pups of our pack weren’t that far away from them and it filled me with anger.

“STOP!” I snarled at them both. Neither of them stopped as the continued to attack each other. I can feel my eyes shift black as my wolf comes out. I tackled them both to the ground and hold them both by the throat. I held them down to get them to submit to me. Once they calmed down I threw them in opposite directions. 

“CHANGE NOW!” I yelled furiously.

They shifted and looked down shamefully as they were handed clothes.

“How many times?” I asked quietly.

“Too many Luna. We are so sorry.” They both said.

“Enough is enough! You could have hurt someone else by being a fucking idiot. You will both learn to get along! You both will have punishment together and separate. Go to cook and I will deal with you later.” I snapped.

They nodded and ran off. “Why did you Jump in like that?” Red said curious.

“They could have really hurt each other or someone else. We don’t need that. Hopefully the punishment together will help them get along. I just know I can’t keep doing that.” I huffed in annoyance.

Red cupped my face and kissed me sweetly. “You are an amazing Luna.”

I blushed and shoved him back embarrassed. He stumbled back a little surprised and I blushed deeper and stuttered “Uh uh… I will see you later!” I ran toward the house laughing and I hear Reds laughter behind me.
