Well... Hello there Death

chapter 6

"Are you ok?" Angel asked me walking up.

"Yes. Just a little angry." I smiled at him. "Do you need anything?"

"Well ..... Kinda.... I was wondering if you would go out with me? To dinner? Like a date?" He asked nervously. It was kinda cute seeing him all flustered.

I stare at him in shock. I dont know what to say. "What? Really?" I blurt out.

He laughed. "Yes. I like you. I want to get to knowyou better. Unless that guy was your mate?"

I bite my lip. Should I tell him or not? Death made it clear that he doesnt want me. I sigh out.

"No. He is not my mate. Im just surprised that you want to go out with me." I smiled ignoring my wolfs displeasure.

I groan mentally at her. Death rejected us and we need someone strong at our side!

You're right. I just want my real mate.

Angel waved a hand infront of my face. "Hello?"

I blush. "Sorry I zoned out. I was talking to my wolf. What did you say?"

"I was wondering, hoping actually, that if you wanted to go out tonight." He laughed at my blush.

"Oh. I cant tonight. Not with the other Alpha coming in. Im in charge of everything here to get ready.  Which is why I am picking flowers." I smile at him waving my arms at the flowers.

"Well let me help you carry them in. We can go out tomorrow night if thats ok with you?" He helped me pick up the baskets of flowers i've picked.

"Yes. I am free tomorrow and you dont have to help me so thank you very much." I grinned at him.

His eyes drifted to me and a playful smile came across his lips. His thumb brushed across my check. "You have some dirt." I can feel my face heating up in a blush.

"Arianna! Arianna! The cook is in an outrage!" A girl called from the house.

I sighed. " I have to go deal with that! If you could put those on the table in the dinning room? Someone will come along to fix them."

I leaned up and kissed his check like second nature. I jerked back blushing and ran into the house. My heart and wolf excited. What is going on with me?

I walked into my room after dealing with the cook to change. I had flour all over me. The cook is so tempermental. Death was sitting on my bed glarring at me.

"Dont you think you should be figuring out what pissed someone off enough to attack than being a whore?" He snarled at me.

"Excuse me?"" I asked in disbelief.

"You heard me! Instead of figuring out what happend you are going out with that guy." He is yelling at me.

"He is an Alpha! This could change everything! It could change us being attacked. It could have been them! Last time he was here I blew him off. So SHUT IT." I snapped back. "Why do you care anyways?"

"I dont" He grunted.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed some clothes as I turned I bumped into Deaths chest.

"Dont go out with him." He whispered cupping my face.

My hearts beating faster and my breath quickens. "Why?"  Death doesnt answer he just hardly touches his lips to mine like a whisper and vanishes.

I sit on my bed confused. What the hell is going on?
