Joey's POV

I open the door out of Nory's room and go over to Officer Larry's office.

Larry: "Hey boys. So?" he says putting his glasses up on top of his head

Joey: " She a very sweet little girl." I say sitting down on the chair in front of his desk. And Daniel sits in the one next to mine

Daniel: "She also is very creative" Daniel says looking over at me and then back at Larry.

Larry: " Yes, quite. Well, have you guys talked at all?"

Daniel: " Not privately, no."

Larry: "Well i'll leave you to it." He says getting up and walking out of the office leaving me and Daniel.

I look over at Daniel

Joey: "well?" I ask lifting my eyebrows slightly.

Daniel: " I see something in that kid." he says resting his chin on his hand

Joey: " Me to. I just hope she will eventually let us hug her."

Daniel: " I mean you can't blame her. The poor girl is traumatized."

I sigh and look over at Larry's desk

10 minutes later Daniels POV

Daniel: " Well. Lets do it" I say looking over at Joey

Joey grows a smile and nods a few times, standing up and reaching out his hand. I take his hand and we go over to Larry. After a long few hours of paperwork and information and signing papers, We can FINALLY legally take her home.

Larry:" Thank you. I know she's in good hands."

Joey and I both smile and hug Larry and walk over to her room. While opening the door she's asleep on the floor next to the bed. We both look at each other and give a confused look. " Why isn't she on the bed?" I think to myself.

Nory wakes up and rubs her eyes but she see's the outline of a tall man, and starts to scoot back towards the wall and then puts her mouth over her hand.

Joey turns on the light and she signs of relief.

Daniel: " are you okay?" I say

Nory: " I'm fine mister." She says sitting upright ands moving her hair to a ponytail

Joey: "Why are you on the bed?"

Nory: " I'm not used to it. I don't like it."

Daniel: " Okay well, we did all of paperwork, are you still sure you'd want us to adopt you?"

Nory looks up at the corner of her eye and storks her imaginary beard and Joey quietly chuckles.

Nory: " Yeah i'm sure! but I can bring Lola right?" she asks with a cute concerned look

Daniel: " Whats Lola?" I ask sitting down on the floor

Nory holds up a pink teddy bear, seems to have all its fur patted down, and its left eye is slightly curved in

Nory: " Lola is my very best friend. I'm not leaving if I can't bring her" she says with sass. Me and Joey both try not to laugh

Joey: "Of course she can come. Just make sure she doesn't eat all the honey"
