After a few minutes of him breathing heavy and uneven, I finally hear his breathing go back to its normal rhythm. I feel his body relax and a light snore come from his.

Daniel: "Are you awake, love?"

I say in a whisper hoping I won't wake him up if he is asleep.

Okay I'm guessing he's asleep.

I stand up quietly and pull up his blanket to his neck.

I lean in and kiss his temple and make my way to the door.

Joey: "Daniel?"

I hear his quiet voice say, I turn around his eyes are still closed.

Daniel: "Yes my love?"

Joey: "I love you"

He says tiredly.

Daniel: "I love you more."

A smile forms on his mouth before he falls asleep.

I step out of the door and close it gently.

Linda: "Daniel!"

I hear a woman say running towards me from the end of the hall.

Daniel: "Hey Linda."

I reply walking towards her.

Linda: "Nora wants to see you."

I smile and follow her to her room. The most surprising this about this whole thing is, the car smashed on Norys side, but she only suffers minor injuries.

Daniel: "Hey sunshine."
I say as I walk into her room.

Norabella's face beams and she holds her arms open for a hug.

My smile grows wider and I walk up to her and give her a giant hug.

Norabella: "How are you, sweetie?"
She says. I chuckle lightly and sit on her bed in front of her.

Daniel: "I'm great knowing you guys are okay."

Norabella: "Oh gee! I forgot! How's pig?"
She says. I think she's referring to Joey.
Unless she has a pig in her room, then I'm gonna assume Joey.

Daniel: "Joey? He's okay. He's sleeping now. How are you?"

Norabella: "Well, that dang airbag in the car whacked me right in the face, but I'm so good."

The car turned on Joeys side so he got a broken leg, and Norys airbag was way to big for her, but it inworped her so she was okay, minus bruises and one broken finger.

Daniel: "That's good. Oh, Linda told me to tell you, she has to head home but she'll come see you sometime this week."

Norabella: "Alrighty"

Norabella smiles at me and stretches out her arms to hug me again.
I chuckle and wrap my arms around her and hold her tight.

Norabella: "I love you, dad"

She whispers to me.

Okay Daniel, don't cry don't cry.

Daniel: "I love you to, Norabella"
