I wake up with my love snuggled up in my arms.

Daniel: "You awake, my love?"

I whisper.
I receive no response so I will take that as a no.

I kiss the top of his head and sigh of tiredness.

Nory: "Daniel, are you awake?"

I hear Nory say as she steps out of her room.

Daniel: "Mhm."
I respond.

Nory: "You got a call from someone named 'Colleen' and she said to check your phone.
I hope you don't mined that I answered the phone. You guys weren't waking up."

Daniel: "Oh, that's fine."
I reply. She smiles and walks back to her room and I check my messages.

Colleen-Hi. I need to talk to Joey about a thing we're doing with Miranda, so tell him to pls come over. He's not answering.

She texts me.

I frown at the thought of waking him up, but I guess I have to.
So I shake him a little gently.

Daniel: "Joey, you have your meeting with Colleen for a video. Time to wake up my love."

Joey moans in response. And sighs.

Joey: " Mmkay" he responds groggy.

Nory: "Hey Jose! Can I come to?"

Daniel: "Yeah Jose."

Joey: "Now I'm Jose? I thought I was Jared this morning?"
He replies sitting up and stretching.

Nory: "Oh hush, pig. Answer my question."

I chuckle and Joey glares at me.

Joey: "Who's side are you on, sweet?"

Daniel: "I'm gonna go with Nory. She's my queen."

I reply and fist bump Nory.

Nory: "Tell him, Daniella."

Joey: "Alright alright. Let's go."

I chuckle and cup his cheek and give him a fake pout.

Joey: "Poor Daniel is gonna be alone, we get it."

He says. I roll my eyes and kiss him.

Nory: "Stop! Eww! My innocence is gone!"

She yells and covers her eyes.

Me and Joey laugh and he gets up, slips on his shoes, gives me one more kiss and heads out the door with our daughter.

I pull out of the driveway and we start to drive to Colleen's.

Nory: "Why do you hang around Miranda? She seems rude and dilated."

I chuckle.

Joey: "That's actually Colleen. It's her playing a character. Miranda is just a funny act she does."

Nory: "Oh. That's cool."

She replies and I smile.

Nory: "So, Joseph,"

She starts.

Nory: "I was thinking..."

Joey: "Uh-huh?"

Nory: "I want to get you guys a gift."

Joey: "Why?"

Nory: "Because you guys are great. I like you guys a lot."

She says seeming embarrassed.

Joey: "We like you a lot to Nory. Me and Daniel think you're incredible."

Nory: "What?"

Joey: "We've never met a girl like you. You're so sassy and nice. And very polite I might add, and you're just a beautiful girl, Norabella."

I turn to my side to see her eyes watering and her mouth in a smile.

Nory: "Nobody has ever called me beautiful before, Joey."

I feel a warm smile form on my face and kiss the top of her head.

Then suddenly, something crashes into the side of my car.

And everything turns black.
