Liv's POV
I've been working at Svu for thirteen years. Today is my new partners first day. I want Elliot back, I hate that he left. I want him back. I wonder if he misses me too. Liv stop thinking like that of course he misses you, you guys were partners for so long he has to miss you. "Liv... Olivia!!" Captain yelled pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Sorry capt, what do you want," I said.
"Your new partner will be here in a few minutes," he said.
Oh great. "Great, I'll wait here for him," I said happily.
I sat there looking at the photos on my desk. One of my mom and one of me and Elliot. I looked over and it was Elliot's desk. "Hello," I voice said.
I looked up and saw a guy. He was hot. "H-Hi," I said.
"I'm the new detective, I was wondering where the captains office is," he said.
"Right there," I said pointing to capts office.
"Thanks," he said.
"Anytime," I said before he walked into capts office.
I was alone with my thoughts, again. After a few minutes of thinking of Elliot and my mom I heard my name. "Liv," captain said.
"Yes," I said.
"Office now," he said.
I went into his office. "Yes captain," I said.
"This is your new partner Nick Amaro," he said.
"Yes, my partner is the hot guy, this is one of the best days since Elliot left," I said. "Did I say that out loud?" I asked hopping I didn't.
"Yes," Nick said blushing a little.
"Sorry," I said.
"Its nothing, good thing I'm not married or that I don't have a girlfriend," he said.
"Yeah, lucky me," I said laughing a little.
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that," capt said.
"Thanks capt," I said.
"Anything for you Liv," he said.
We left and I showed him his new desk. Munch came in and asked "Liv this your new partner?"
"Yes, why?" I asked.
"Just wondering," he said putting his hands in a surrendering position.
"I forgive you," I said.
We laughed and he went to his desk. "That's Munch, he tries to make jokes," I said.
"Okay," Nick said smiling at me.
I smiled back. Fin came in. "Hey Fin," I said.
"Hey this the new guy?" He asked.
"Yeah, his name is Nick," I said.
"Hi Nick," Munch and Fin said.
"Hey," Nick said back.
They kept talking but I wasn't listening. I was thinking about Elliot. I couldn't get him out of my mind. I got up from my chair and walked outside. I got in the car and drove to Elliot's house. On my way there all I thought about was Elliot. I almost crashed on my way there cause I wasn't paying attention. What would I say when I got there. When I got there I went up to the door. I knocked. I knocked again. Elliot opened the door. I hugged him tight. He hugged me back. "I miss you so much, I'm not the same, I can't even do my job without you," I said.
"Its okay," he said.
"Can you drive me back and stay there, just for today, please," I begged.
"Only today," he said.
"Only today," I repeated.
I got in the passenger side and he got in the driver's side. When I got out of the car I went to the driver's side and hugged him. I wasn't letting go. He picked me up and I just hugged him. We walked into the squad room and everyone stared at us. I didn't care I just wanted Elliot back. He sat in my chair and I sat on top of him. Captain came out. "Liv where were," he stopped when he saw me on Elliot.
"Nick and Fin office now," he said.
When they came out they left. I guess they were on a case. Elliot and I just sat there. Some lady came in. I got off of Elliot and walked over. "Can I help you," I said.
"Is there a detective Nick here," she said.
"No why," I said.
"I'm his ex wife and I need to talk to him, who are you," she said.
"His umm his new," I said before Elliot cut me off.
"She's his new partner," he said.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"None of you business," Elliot said.
She walked out and I sat back on Elliot. I hugged him. I started crying. I didn't want this day to end. I love him so much and I miss him so much. He picked me up and brought me to the bathroom where I started balling my eyes out. What will I do when Elliot won't be there to help me. I can't do this.
