Nick's POV
I couldn't take being in the hospital any longer. I got changed and walked out of my room. I went the front desk. "Do you know where I could find Serena Rose?" I asked.
"No one told you?" The woman behind the counter asked.
"Told me what," I asked.
"She died before she got to the hospital," the woman told me.
"I was informed that she was in surgery," I told her.
"Sir I'm sorry but she's gone," the lady told me.
"Thanks for your time," I said and walked out.
I called a taxi and waited. 15 to 20 minutes until it would arrive. I sat on a bench in front of the hospital and watched all the people come in and out. As time passed I saw a taxi pull up. I walked to it and got in. I gave him the address of the precinct and he drove off. It took him a good half hour, because of traffic, to get there. I paid him 50 bucks and walked into the precinct. I went to my locker and got my keys. I didn't want to be seen. I hurried out and got into the car. I drove around for hours. I pulled onto a street i have never been down before and drove. It soon came to a dead end. There was this big abandoned place. I parked the car and turned it off. I took my gun out and sprinted inside. Once I was in I quietly walked around. I took a left and walked a little farther. Then a right and saw a light at the end of the hallway. I walked and walked. I finally got there and put my head in along with my gun. I saw him hitting Julia with his belt. She wasn't screaming cause he put duck tape on her mouth. She was handcuffed to a bed post. She was in a sitting position. She didn't look to hot. I creeped up behind him and whipped him on the head with my gun. Then just to make sure I shot him in the lower part of his leg. I got the key for the handcuffs and uncuffed Julia. She was weak. I called an ambo. They were rushing two over. After I few minutes I heard faint sounds of an ambo. They got louder and louder. The EMTs rushed into the building and followed the hallway until they got into the room. They tried getting the man out first. "Hey, he's not important he kidnapped my daughter and tortured her for three days. Get her outta here first," I told them.
They did and soon another set of EMTs came in and got the guy. I called Liv when the ambulance that I was in drove off to the hospital. "Liv," I said.
"Yes, where are you?" She asked me.
"In the back of an ambulance," I told her.
"What happened?" She asked.
Her heart beating fast. "I found Julia and I'm in the back of the ambulance with her the guy that took her is in another ambulance behind us," I told her.
"I'm go the hospital now," she told me.
I heard her close her car door in the background. "I'll see you when you get to he hospital," I said.
"Ok, bye," she told me.
"Love you," I said.
"Love you too," she said.
I hung up and watched as they tried CPR on Julia. They got her back after doing CPR for a few minutes. We finally got to the hospital. They rushed Julia in. She had to get surgery but wouldn't tell me what for or why. I went back to the waiting room and saw Liv there. "Liv you'll never guess what I said to Julia," I said hugging her.
"What? Wait let me guess, you called her your daughter," Liv guessed.
"Yes, how did you know?" I asked.
"I guessed," Liv said as she laughed.
We sat next to each other and waited. It felt like hours until the doctor call "family of Julia Benson."
Liv and I jumped up from our seats and walked over to him. "That's us," Liv said.
He had a look on his face I didn't like. "Tell us," I said.
"Look I'm sorry to tell you this but your daughter was raped," he said.
"Nooo" I yelled. "Where is that son of a bitch that did this to my daughter?"
"Room 44015," the doctor said.
"What room is my daughter in?" I heard Liv asked.
"6323," I heard the doctor say before I turned the corner and went flying down the halls to get to the son of a bitch.
I got to the room and opened it. He was awake but weak. "What's your name?" I asked.
"Elliot, and your Nick," he said.
"That's damn right, and I'm going to beat your ass," I told him.
