Liv's POV

In the bathroom I was crying. I cried and cried and cried. He finally picked me up and we walked into the squad room. "Please take me outside," I said.

He brought me outside and I jumped off of him. I ran. I was running faster than ever before. I just kept running. I ran until I saw a cemetery. I stopped running and walked into the cemetery. I was walking to my moms grave when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It was a cat. It was grey and white. It was so adorable. I tried to go near it but it ran away from me. I went back to walking to my moms grave. I started crying. "Mom I'm so sorry, I know you told me to be strong but I can't all the time, Elliot just left and I have a new partner and all of this is too much for me," I said.

I turned around and saw the cat next to me. I quickly grabbed it. I said "bye mom see you next week."

I pulled the cat close to me and rubbed its back. I ran to the pet store and got a carrier and a leash to put on it. I put the leash on it and and it ran around the store. I got food, and dishes to put food and water in and got him or her a cat tree. I payed for the stuff and ran to the precinct. People looked at me funny having a cat on a leash. I ran into the precinct and everyone stood silent. Elliot came out of captains office and I dropped everything and ran to him. He caught me and the cat and laughed. I laughed too. He asked "where did you get the cat?"

"I found it at the cemetery when I went there today," I told him.

"Lucky cat, good thing you found the cat and not someone else," Elliot said.

"Can you take me to the vet, I need the cat checked out," I asked.

He didn't bother arguing with me. "Sure," he said.

He ran with me and the cat in his arms, to the car. He sat me and the cat in the passenger seat. He ran to the driver's seat and sat in it. He turned it on and 'story of my life' came on. I started singing. "Thanks," I said after the song was over.

"Your welcome," Elliot said.

Then 'photograph' came on. Elliot and I sung. We arrived at the vets. Elliot got me out of the car and I bear hugged him. He walked in with me like that. He walked up to the counter and I jumped off of him. "We are here to get our cat checked out, we didn't make an appointment though," Elliot said.

The girl behind the counter nodded and we went to sit down. About five minutes later a veterinarian came out. "Come back here detective Stabler and detective Benson," the vet said.

We got up and followed the veterinarian back to a room. We got into the room and the vet said "this is the cat huh."

"Yes," I said.

"Let me look at, is it a boy or girl?" She asked.

"I don't know," I said.

"Okay let me look and I will tell you, than I'll do some tests and we will be right back," she said taking the cat with her.

Me and Elliot sat in the room alone. It was quite until he said something. "Do you think it's a boy or a girl?" He asked.

"Boy," I said.

"I think it's a girl," he said.

"Your wrong," I said.

"No your wrong," he said.

Than the veterinarian came in. "Are you fighting?" She asked.

"Yeah, about whether or not the cat is a boy," I said.

"I know what it is, do you want to know?" She asked.

"Yes," I said.

"So your cat is........ A boy," the veterinarian said.

"I told you," I said looking at Elliot.

"Yes you did," he said.

"I'm going to name him Mr. Sara, cause if he was a girl I would of named him Sara Beth," I said.

"He is healthy and I gave him all his shots that he needed so you are good to go," the vet said.

"Thank you," Elliot said.

"Thank you so much," I said.

"You are so welcome," she said.

We walked out and he drove to the precinct. When we got there I regret even coming back to the precinct or thinking about coming back. I can't believe he is here. I told him before not to show up at my work unless it's an emergency and I don't wanna deal with him right now but I have too.
