Liv's POV
Fin got a call so he went to an interrogation room. When he came out he ran to get his keys and jacket. "Where are you going?" I asked him.
He didn't answer. He ran out of the squad room. I got my keys but left my jacket there. Which was a mistake. I got in the car and followed Fin. He drove to his house. I parked a block away and got out. I ran to his apartment. When I got in it was a mess. Cops, EMTs, CSU. They where bagging evidence. I tried to find Julia but she was no where to be found. I saw a guy being put in an ambulance. I ran to the ambulance and got in it. He was conscious so I asked him a few questions while the EMT was working on him. "I'm detective Benson, what's your name?" I asked.
"My name i-is W-William Lewis," he said struggling to breath.
"Do you know Julia?" I asked him.
"N-No, I only k-know D-Derek Morgan J-Jr," he told me.
He went unconscious. I sat back and let the EMTs do their job. We got to the hospital and I had to wait in the waiting room. About an hour later the doctor came out and told me "you can go talk to him."
I went into the room and saw William Lewis in the bed still sleeping. I sat by his bed and started to fall asleep when he said "what are you doing here?"
"I'm here to ask you some questions," I told him.
"Alright sweetheart," he said to me.
I cringed at the sound of that. "First off, why were in my friends hoise tying Mr. Morgan Jr to a chair?" I asked politely.
"Sweetheart, look his dad told me to make it look like a break in and I was suppose to get the girl and his dad had to make sure she was right for him," He said. "And I did as I was told," he told me.
"You know buddy, since you aren't telling me the truth then you'll go away for longer than you are suppose too," I told him anger present in my voice.
"Hope I see you soon sweetheart," he said as I left.
I called Nick and he came and brought me back to Fin's house. I got out and told Nick to go back to the station. I walked inside and saw Fin and Julia hugging. Then I saw Morgan Jr run over to them and hugged Julia. She seemed so happy. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I got a phone call.
Julia's POV
Morgan came over and hugged me. We had a mini group hug. After we stopped hugging I saw Liv. I ran to her. "Hey," I said.
She was on the phone. "OK, thanks for letting me know," she said.
There was a long pause. "Thank you so much," she said holding back her excitement.
She hung up and ran right passed me to Fin. They were talking so I decided not to go over. After a little while Liv motioned for me to go over to her. I ran towards her and hugged her. "I've got good news," she said.
"For real, what is it?" I asked.
"Well you heard me on the phone with someone," she said.
"Yes, and," I said wanting to know badly.
"Well the lady on the phone said. . . that your. . . my daughter," she said pausing.
I squealed. "Are you joking?" I asked once I calmed down.
"No," she said hugging me.
"This is the best, weirdest, coolest, most scariest days of my life," I said.
Everyone laughed and I did too. We did a group hug and made our way back to the station. Nick was waiting for Liv. "What happened? Is everyone alright? Did anyone have to go to the hospital?" He asked.
"Some guy broke into my house and tried taking Julia but she stabbed the dude," Fin said.
"His name is William Lewis," Liv said.
"We're alright, except for Lewis," Morgan said. "Wait, why does that name sound familiar?" He asked.
"He was the only one who had to go to the hospital," I said.
"Well I'm happy everyone is alright," he said to us.
"Me too," Fin said.
"Me three," Liv said.
"Oh, that's why his name sounds familiar," Morgan said randomly.
