Nick's POV
I woke up in the hospital. "What happened. Where's Julia and her grandma?" I asked.
"We can't find julia and her grandma is in surgery. She crashed about five or six times in the ambulance. It was bad. She isn't doing well," Liv told me.
"No. What are you guys doing to find julia?" I asked. "How long do I have to stay here?"
"Munch, fin and Amanda are looking for Julia. For at least two days because you got a concussion," she told me.
"Can you keep me informed on the case?" I asked.
"Of course, anything for you," Liv told me.
She walked out and I was stuck in the hospital replaying what happened before I blacked out. Thinking of how I could of saved Julia and help find her instead of being in the hospital. I was so stupid. I had to get better so I could get back to helping her. Its not fast enough.
Liv's POV
I can't believe I lied to Nick. I didn't want him to feel bad but I just couldn't tell him the truth. I got into the car and turned it on. Different for girls came on. I love that song. It breaks my heart even more then it already is. I love Nick but I can't find the courage. I got back to the precinct and Morgan was there. "Hi," I said.
"Hi. Did you guys find julia yet?" He asked.
"No not yet but we are looking and trying our hardest," I told him.
"Thank you, you guys are the best people ever and I'm glad to have you guys as family," Morgan told me.
"Do you want to help?" I asked him.
"Sure, anything for Julia," Morgan said.
I really like him. He is so polite. So sweet. So nice. So cute. Julia and I have the most amazing guys in the world. How did we get so lucky? We walked to the elevator and got in. "How is julia? Is she a nice girlfriend?" I asked.
"She's the only one I had and she is the best girlfriend in the world. No offense to you though but for me she is the best," he said.
"None taken. She is a sweet girl even though all the shit she went through made her a better person," I said.
The elevator dinged and opened. We got out and walked outside to were my car was parked. "So where are we going?" Morgan asked as we got into the car.
"I don't know but it's better then just sitting in there doing nothing," I said to Morgan.
"Your right," he said.He looked out the window. I turned the music up and rolled my window down. He did the same. I pulled onto a side road I have never been down and drove down it. There were a lot of abandoned buildings around this area. "Wanna go out and walk around before it gets to dark?" I asked.
"Sure, let's look in some of them," he told me.
We went into one that was small and walked the halls quietly. All the lights off. I had a flashlight. Morgan held it in one hand and I held my gun in one hand. We each had a free hand so we could punch someone if needed. We walked down some more until we found one hallway lit. Morgan turned the flashlight off and we walked down it carefully and quietly. At the end of it one more was open. We walked to it. I peeked my head in quickly. There was a homeless guy in there. Morgan and I walked in. "Hello," I said.
"H-hi," the guy said.
"Have you seen a girl around his age." I said pointing to Morgan. "And a guy my age?" I asked.
"Not in here or around here but I don't go out much," he told us.
"Thank you for your time and we are sorry," I said as I handed him a hundred dollar bill.
"Are you sure you want me to have it?" He asked.
"Get some clothes or food," I said. "If you find out any information please contact me."
"I will and thank you so much," he said.
Morgan smiled and walked out with me. "Looks like we found nothing today," I stated.
"Yeah, let's start fresh tomorrow," he sighed.
"It's for the best," I told him.
"Yeah," he whispered and got into the car.
We drove to my house and he crashed in the spare room. He wasn't happy but he was tired. He got into the room and fell asleep. He didn't even take his shoes off. I went into the room and took his shoes off. I put a blanket on him and walked out quietly closing the door behind me.
