Planning (chapter 2)

I called Scott the next day. The RED Tour ideas just couldn't leave my mind.

"Hey, Scott!" I said, a little too exclamatory for this early.

"Hi, Taylor, what's up?"

"Just amazed about everyone's reactions to 'RED.' Oh, and I need to talk to you about something..."

I could feel Scott giving me his famous curious eyeing. "What're you up to, Tay?"

"Well, I was thinking of going on tour again." I poured a bowl of cereal and got out a spoon. I didn't care for milk in my cereal.

"Oh, really? Your bones aren't too brittle for that yet? You know you're almost 23, right?" Scott joked.

"Ha, ha. Very funny. And yes, really. I was thinking of bringing Ed along." I said seriously.

"Well, if you're serious about this then we can plan something soon. I'll have to talk to Ed's manager. Stuart, isn't it?"

"Yes," I said with a lot of cereal in my mouth.

"So, I guess come to the office tomorrow. Is that alright?" Scott said. I could picture him writing stuff down in his schedule book already.

"Sure. 12 o'clock?"

"See you then, Swift." He said and hung up.

Oh, how I loved Scott. He was always in between serious and joking. He was like an uncle to me.

I finished my breakfast and went out for a jog in the cool streets of Nashville.
