Booze, sweat, and someone's sick. That's the first thing you notice about anywhere you go, the smell; It's like first impressions. "Why would anyone go to a nightclub?" You think to yourself, following your group of friends to the bartender. "Why am I at a nightclub? Of all people?" Your friends ask you if you want a drink, at first you tell them no, but then you remember that it's going to be a long night. You order a martini and take a seat at the table.
Later your friends invite you to dance, you say no. You stay at the table, drinking your drink and watching. There are so many weird and interesting looking people at nightclubs. There's the obvious druggies, the recently dumped, and the horny sluts. You try to hold back your laughter slightly as you watch some girl slap some random guy who was creeping on her.
You keep looking around when you see him, sitting at a table with a group of his friends. They're all laughing and smiling... his smile... it's beautiful. You've never seen any other man smile like that before and it was beautiful. You continue to stare at his smile, just hoping that his friends will continue to make him laugh, when suddenly his smile stops as his friend whispers something in his ear. His face now looks slightly more serious as he's paying the closest off attention.
He then suddenly looks straight into your eyes, and you immediately become aware of how long you had been staring at him. You can feel your cheeks turning red as you hide your face, but it's too late. Out of the corner of your eye you see him walking towards you. You take a quick drink and pretend that you don't notice him until he sits down at you table.
"Hey." He says smiling.
You turn to look at him, your face bright red. "Hey."
"So, um..." He continues, sounding slightly nervous. "My friend says that you were staring at me... Is that true?"
You blush more at the sound of his voice. "Um... well, no. I wasn't staring at you, I was just staring at your smile."
His eyes widen as he scoots his chair in further. "Really?" He asks. "My smile?"
You take another sip of your drink, to try and numb the embarrassment. "Y-yeah... That's weird isn't it? I'm sorry..."
"No, no, no, it's not weird. It's actually really cute." He smiles again, causing you smile even more. "I'm just glad you weren't just staring at the poster behind me, because that would have been embarrassing."
You laugh when suddenly your vision starts to blur, your thoughts become hazy, and you can feel you head spinning like a top. You lean your head in your hand and rest against the table.
"Woah, you ok?" He asks, noticing your sudden change in mood.
"Yeah," You reply now holding head with both hands, pressing on your temples. "I just feel really dizzy all of a sudden."
"Do you want some water?" He asks, now becoming on edge.
"No..." You reply woozily. "I'm... fine..."
Suddenly everything's dark and all you remember is the feeling of falling and then someone catching you...
"HELLO!?" You hear a voice holler in your ear. "Are you alright?"
You attempt to answer, but your throat feels as though it's been sealed shut. And your head is pounding. You immediately cover your ears to block out any future noise. The voice becomes muffled and the pounding has died down slightly. You uncover your ears and open your eyes.
You're in a very nice looking apartment, very nice and very expensive. You try sit up to find the man from the club sitting in the chair opposite you. He looks really worried and as soon as he notices that you're awake, he's at your side, helping you sit up.
"Woah hey, are you okay?"
You rub your forehead at the sound of his voice, the noise still hurts your head.
"Yeah..." You reply, sitting fully straight up for the first time since you've woken up. "Where am I?"
He smiles and lets out a slight laugh. "Those must have been some pretty strong drugs if you haven't figured that out by now."
"WHAT?!" You exclaim now fully awake. "What drugs?" You scoot away from the man, now suspicious of everything.
"Wait, no. I didn't drug you, somebody at the club must have drugged your drink."
"How did I get here then?" You ask, your brain is so hazy, it's not making any connections at all.
"I brought you here." He explains. "You passed out and I didn't know where you lived or if you were with somebody, so I brought you to the best place I know, my apartment... Wait, you weren't with your boyfriend were you?"
You can't help but laugh. "No, I don't have a boyfriend."
He pauses, looking down at the ground quickly before back at you. "Girlfriend?"
"No," You laugh again. "No girlfriend."
"Oh..." He trails off, which leaves the room with awkward silence.
"I better get going home," You say, grabbing your purse that was sitting on the coffee table, and standing up. But the second you do, you almost fall back onto the couch.
"Woah, hey.." He says catching you, again. "Be careful... Maybe I should drive you home."
When you arrive at your house you can't help but blush. Your house is so pathetic compared to his apartment. "Thanks for the ride." You say opening the door when he stops you.
"Hey wait, I don't even know your name."
"Well I don't know yours either." You say as you slowly walk backward towards your house.
"It's Brendon." He says smiling. "Brendon Urie."
"My names, Y/N"
