This imagine is dedicated to bananamariew Thanks for the request, this was a blast writing. It does end on a cliffhanger (what else is new). I would also like to apologize for not adding a new chapter in what feels like a year (it actually might have been, I haven't checked). I would like to let you guys know that I haven't forgotten about my imagines, in fact, I missed writing them. I've just been really busy with work and school and when I do have free time I either not in the mood to write or I'll work on books I haven't published. Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoy!
You're walking to the train station when he runs into you, nothing happens really it was just a casual collision and he apologized. But you had this feeling that you just couldn't shake, like that feeling you get when you know you've forgotten something but you just can't think of what it could be. You board the train and try to ignore it but it just won't go away. Like an annoying song you don't want to think about but the more you try not to think about it the more you do.
"What was it about him that's driving me so crazy?" You ask yourself. "He didn't seem shady or evil, but there was this presence to him that just felt... untrustworthy."
"Hope you're not talking about me."
You jump, not realizing that there was someone seated behind you. "How did you?..."
"You said all of that out loud." He replies, a smile on his face.
You throw your hand to your forehead. "Well, that's embarrassing..."
He quickly moves, taking the seat beside you, you scoot over slightly to give him more room. "I'm Keller, Matthew Keller."
The name sounds so familiar it's haunting. You giggle nervously, "The names Bond, James Bond."
He smiles, his eyes sparkle and his white teeth glisten. 'He's kinda cute, in an intimidating as hell kind of way.' You think to yourself, this time actually keeping it in your head.
"You know you should really learn how to keep thoughts to yourself." He says. You hope to god he's referring to first time.
"I know," you groan. "I just have a habit of thinking out loud, especially when something really bothers me."
He smiles again. "Yeah... It's cute, though."
The blood is rushing to your cheeks as you feel yourself blush. "Really? You think it's cute?"
"Yeah." He explains. "Most girls won't even tell you what's actually on their minds, let alone something important."
"That's a little sexist, isn't it?"
He chuckles, "Yeah I guess it is. But I do have to remind myself that most girls don't have Neil Caffery in love with them. So I guess you're an exception"
"Excuse me, What?!" Your mind is racing a million miles an hour, who is this guy, what does he want, and how the hell does he know about you and Neil? You immediately revert back to your original assumption of him. He's definitely shady and up to something.
You hear him say something back to you but it sounds as though he's talking to you underwater.
"What?"
Again you hear what could only be him speaking but he's incoherent. Now that your thinking about it, you can't really see him either, everything's blurred. You've been drugged. You have no idea how but you just know. That's when your memory come racing back to you and slamming you like a freight train. How the hell could you forget Keller? A man you despise above all else.
The next thing you know you're in what looks like a makeshift jail cell. You blink rapidly to allow your eyes to adjust to the dark lighting. You see Keller standing outside the cell, he's on the phone and looks extremely upset. There are boxes everywhere which cause you to believe you're in some kind of storage area.
"Keller," You say, your voice dry and raspy. "Where the hell am I?"
Keller scoffed, obviously pleased with himself. "Boy do I love talking to you, you're so dumb, it's such a confidence boost. Good to see your memory's back."
You always tried your hardest not to let the things he says not affect you, but god damn was it irritating. 'Just because I'm not a genius doesn't mean he should get to treat me like shit.' You thought. "Screw you, Keller."
He laughed, that's exactly what he wanted, a reaction, and you gave it to him. God, did the sound of his hollow laugh make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. Every part of his being rang evil. He was horrible, despicable and you couldn't stand him in the slightest.
"So where is he?" Keller asked, his patience obviously wearing thin.
"Who, Caffrey?" You asked sarcastically. "How should I know, I'm not in the most opportune position to be keeping tabs on him. You know, being in a shittily made cell and all."
"You know, you get more annoying every time I see you."
"Well," You said copying his tone of voice. "If you could stop obducting me every five minutes, maybe we could both have some piece of mind."
He laughed his horrible hollow laugh once more. "Oh, we both know I wish I could stop, but we both also know that you're the best way to get to Caffrey."
You shuttered at his words. You knew he was right.
Then as if out of nowhere, a soothing all too familiar voice came over a speaker. "Why did I have a feeling you were going to ruin my good day, Keller?"
