Tatiana Mardones
Me and Micheal have been texting each other on the low, and thankfully Tevin hasn't found out about it. Because lets just say that Micheal does say some things to me that Tevin would not like. Every time I talk or text Micheal, I feel safe and free in a way. I can be myself around him. Tell him whatever I want, and not have to worry about if he's gonna take it the wrong way or not.
We set a time schedule on when he can contact me, and when he shouldn't bother. Which is usually when Tevin is around, or when I know he could be walking through the door at any minute. I will admit, that we haven't always been careful, because Tevin is starting to get a little suspicious. I'm just glad he doesn't go as far as actually checking my phone behind my back. Now, that me and Micheal have been hanging out on the low, Tevin hasn't hit me as much. And maybe he'll stop hitting me altogether, as long as we stay as careful as possible.
As I was in my zone cleaning my house as usual, I was listening to Chris Brown's Fine By Me on repeat. Which I tend to do with a song, when I'm really trying to get the words down. Just something I do for fun, since Tevin wants to keep me locked up in the house all day. I was dancing around the living room, pushing the vacuum along with me, like I was performing for someone. Since it was Saturday morning, Xavier was still in his bedroom watching SpongeBob on his TV with his cousin Zander, who spent the night. My sister Tanisha should be on her way over, because she planned to come get him early. He had to go with his father for the week, which Tanisha wasn't thrilled about. Even though she knows her sprung ass, is gonna be right over there with them. If she can't stand Zander, why are they still sleeping together? Because they still have feelings for each other, that's why. My twin is kind of naïve sometimes, but hey, she can't help it.
As soon as the song goes off for the tenth time in a row, as if on cue there's a faint knock on the door. It sounded too weak to be Tevin's so I wasn't as anxious to answer it. Whenever I hear that too familiar, solid firm knock on the door, that's when I start jumping over couches like its nothing. I find my twin on the other side, looking like she was about to go to the club. Where as I was dressed in a simple t-shirt, sweats, and I didn't even bother with my hair. I cross my arms with an raised eyebrow, because this bitch wasn't fooling anybody.
"Your a little dressed to pick up your son," I start, and she rolls her eyes, before pushing past me. As I watch her strut past me, I noticed this girl even had some heels on. I smack my lips while closing my door, and locking it back. I follow her into the living room, where I still had Chris Brown playing on a loop.
She flashes me a smirk, which was the first sign that she was about to get on my head about the music. "Somebody's overly obsessed with Breezy today," she teases, and I flip her the bird on reflex.
"Nah, nah. We gotta take about why you lookin like you tryna get some, before you try and get on my head," I joke, and she lets out a little laugh, before flipping some hair over her shoulder. "Explain T," I force, because I could tell she was trying to stall.
"I can't dress up to pick up my son," she asks taken aback by my reaction to her outfit.
"No, you've never dressed like this before to pick Zander up," I remind her, and she waves me off. "Its for his daddy isn't it?"
"Here you go with this."
"I mean, its the only logically reason why you would be dressed like this on a Saturday morning," I point out. "Unless you've already been over there, and this is the walk of shame outfit."
