Nine Months Later...

After coming forward at Tevin's court hearing, he sentenced to two years in jail, since it was his first offense. Which is surprising. I lowkey wished he got sentenced to life in prison, because I'm still really afraid of him. No telling what he's gonna try and do to me when he gets out of jail. Especially when he finds  out about what I've been doing with Micheal...

Even though Tevin was far away, behind bars somewhere out of the city, I was still extremely paranoid. So, I took Micheal up on his offer, and me and Xavier moved in with him. At first me and Xavier shared his second bedroom, but that was before everything happened with Micheal.

After living with Micheal, being such a gentlemen. Complimenting me, catering to me, treating me with respect and gratitude. My feelings for him are only getting stronger, and I know he feels the same way about me. We started dating about three months after the Tevin incident, but we didn't make it a official until a month after that. Where I finally let him get some, and I don't regret it. Because after he did, he still treated me like a lady should be treated. And that's all I really wanted from Tevin. Was to feel like I wasn't just his part-time sex slave/punching bag. Because lets be honest, Tevin never actually loved me, he's just afraid of being lonely. He's a sad man, that is afraid of being alone.

Even now, Micheal treats me like his queen, and I think I'm in love with him. But, I'm scared that if I say those three words first, he won't see the same way, or think its too soon. So, I'm waiting for him to say it first, hoping that its sometime soon.

"Mikey wake up," I say frantically, shaking him almost violently. He wakes up groggily, eyes half open. I couldn't even admire how adorable he looked, because of how scared I was.

"I'm up baby, what's wrong," he asks, with concern, as he laid his hands on my cheeks and looked deep into my frightened eyes.

"Te-vin," I stutter, not quite sure how to put this.

"What about him?"

"He's out," I cry, causing Micheal's eyes to get big.

"What you mean he's out," he asks like he still didn't believe me.

"He just texted me talking about he's out and he's coming for me," I sob, as tears start streaming down my cheeks. He wipes my salty tears away, with an almost fearless look. "He's gonna kill me," I continue to cry, loving the feeling of being able to cry whenever I want to.

"No, he's not, cause I'm gonna be here to protect you. Plus, since you got that restraining order, if he tries to come anywhere near you he'll be going right back to jail," Micheal reminds me, and that makes me feel a little bit better. "I got you and Xavier ok baby," he asks, and I nod with a weak smile, before leaning down into a passionate kiss. If Micheal only knew how much I appreciate having him in my life to protect and love me and Xavier. He's the man I've always longed for, and it seems so unreal that I've finally found him.

As we're lost in the moment, unaware of our surroundings, there's a firm knock the door. An oh too familiar knock that sent shivers down my back. I could feel my eyes start to well up, as I sat up on Micheal's waist, running my fingers through my hair, shaking my head no. Trying to convince myself that this was all just a dream. That Tevin wasn't actually on the other side of that door, ready to put his hands on me.

Micheal sits up and pulls me into his well-sculpted tattooed chest, that I love being pressed against. He plants a kiss on my forehead, as he rubs my back. Soothing the tension that was starting to grow inside of me. "Your safe baby, don't worry. You just stay in here, while I go answer the door, ight," he asks and I nod feverishly, not going to argue with that suggestion at all. "Lock the door," he adds, before climbing out of our bed, to go answer the door like he planned to do. I spring up after him, making sure to lock the bedroom door securely, before running back over to the bed, and pulling the blankets over me.
