It was way too much to put in the last chapter so this is a part two. So i guess this is sorta a double update. Enjoy guys xx

The door creaks open before Cheryl can mutter the words to me and out comes Cara just as shocked as I am.

"Yeah Cheryl what does that mean?"

Her strawberry blonde hair is pulled into the tightest of ponytails so we can both see how upset she is. Her eyebrows burrow on her face, as she waits for Cheryl to answer.

I don't expect Cheryl to become nasty with her. Because Cheryl wouldn't do that. But I also don't expect what happened next to happen.

"I kissed her" Cheryl shrugs before she looks back at me and I look back at the helmet sitting next to the motorcycle and I can leave this situation right now but that's what got me in this position the first time, leaving so Cheryl could "have a better life" so I won't be doing that.

To make matters worse, considerably worse, Cheryl's mother steps out and sees the tight situation occurring on her doorstep.

"Kimberley" The small woman raises her arms for me to be pulled into her hug and I close my eyes as we share the moment before she pulls me inside.

"Have a cuppa?"

Cheryl's mother, Joan, seems completely ignorant to the conversation, sitting me at the glass table and giving me a much needed cup of tea along with a muffin. After all this time, she still knew I like those bran muffins infused with raisins and that's what she placed on a napkin.

Joan slides in a seat in front of me, sipping from her one cup on a saucer.

"What happened this time?"

The phrase is exhausted coming out of her mouth but it's as if she's still used to Cheryl and I with our storm of issues. Before I can tell her what happens, Cheryl comes in dispelling what seems to be a pleasant moment and Cara follows in after marching furiously upstairs.

She slides into a seat in front of me, remembering the rule her mother Joan has in place when anyone is eating in her home. Stay quiet. So the next exchange is done in furious whispers.

"She thinks I've been unfaithful to her"

I want to say so but I know that it won't help with my case.

"Tell her you haven't"

"I have. She doesn't understand. I told her about you and Cara has always felt as if you were a threat to what her and I have. And she's right, I broke down for you already."

"Cheryl, you need to understand that I didn't come to set turmoil free in your life. I want you to know how much you mean to me. I suffered those five years as well. I felt so stupid all of those years-"

"Why wait this long?"

"Because I'm stupid. Didn't you just hear me say that?"

We take a moment to reflect on each other's words and relax as out words were escalating higher than the level of whisper.

I look pass Cheryl as I see Cara carrying several suitcases down the stairs and Cheryl turns around as she walks into the kitchen.
