The one I love
Is an elusive soul
He cherishes rain
Shadows and snow.
He views the world
With envious adoration,
He tries to quench his desire
With throes of exaltation.
He claims to be
What he is not.
Wants to trot the globe,
Yet he knows not
That love isn't found
In caves so deep,
It isn't found in seas so blue,
Discovered not in forests green
Nor seen within the whirling snow.
Love is right here,
Two blue eyes
And a soul.
I loved him,
He never loved me.
-he will never search for me
