Here's a picture of Grayson :D

Qiu Shuang's pov

I sighed in content as the warm water hit my body. It's wonderful how baths can sooth you and make you think properly.

Lilian had put some creamy milk soap into the tub of water and had placed rose petals on it.

The whole bathroom smells of roses.

I lay my head on the side of the Jacuzzi, closing my eyes while enjoying the soothing sensation the warm water gave me.

I don't know how long I've been lying down there, but Lilian had barged in the room with a frantic Grayson.

"What the hell?!" I half yelled half squeaked in surprise.

Both of them froze on the spot. Then shortly after a few seconds they scrambled out of the door muttering apologies.

I quickly climbed out from the tub and wrapped myself with a towel and then walked out with a flustered face.

Outside the bathroom, Lilian looked as if her face was gonna burst in embarrassment and Grayson was trying really hard to keep his face straight but I could see the corner of his mouth twitching slightly.

Lilian sheepishly explained that she thought that I had fainted in the tub; she had called my name several times because I was taking too long inside, and I hadn't respond her.

And coincidentally, Grayson came home together with Tovi. So she thought she might get Grayson here to carry me out of the tub instead of calling the other maids for help.

Still feeling embarrassed, I apologized to Lilian for not responding her before shooing them both out of the room to change.

"I'm your husband!" Grayson exclaimed as he tried to stop me from pushing him out of the room.

"Right," I pushed him with all my might. "We haven't done serious shit yet so you're not allowed to stay inside. "

He suddenly stopped protesting and stared at me with an unreadable expression on his face. And of course, I took the opportunity to push him out from the room, seeing that he was kinda zoning off.

Just as I was going to close the door Grayson snapped back to his senses and tried to push the door open.

"Is that an invitation?!" he yelled.

I could almost imagine him smiling coyly now.

"Never." I muttered back as I slammed the door shut and locked the door.

When I reopened the door, Grayson wasn't there anymore.

I guess he gave up and went to find the others.

Somehow feeling disappointed, I shut the door and went to deep slumber.

In my sleep, I felt the other side of the bed sink. I rolled my body over and opened one of my eye.

"Grayson?"

"Go back to sleep honey."

"Mmm." I mumbled and scooted closer to Grayson.

"Qiu Shuang?"

"Mmm?"

"You might not realize it, and you might think that it's too early for me to say this. "

"Mhm?"

"I love you. "

"Mmmmm." I was too tired to pay attention to what he said. So I just answered every thing he said with a 'mmmm''.

The last thing I heard before falling back to sleep was him sighing.

I left for work quite early in the morning. I grinned unconsciously remembering yesterday.

She had claimed that we hadn't done any 'serious shit'.

I actually didn't mind when she said she would never invite me to bed with her.

For her to say something like 'serious shit' or even saying something private like that is a big improvement.

But how long and how much does it take to make her fall in love with me?

If I told her the truth about Angelyn and the others, would she believe me?

Most importantly, would she fall in love with me after knowing the truth?

It's best to keep the truth hidden from her.

I don't deserve her.

But would she give me a chance if she knew?

Qiu Shuang's pov
I was walking around the gardens after breakfast thinking of all the possibilities that why would mum and dad marry me to Grayson when two identical twin girls with piggy tails and wearing the same pink dress ran up to me and interrupted my thoughts.

"Are you that new aunt Uncle Gray just married?" one of them asked with her large innocent eyes.

"Yes yes she is Myra!" the other chirped happily. "Remember Uncle Gray told us she was a Chinese when he came to play with us?"

I squatted down to their eye level.

I never knew Grayson had siblings.

"How sure are you?" I asked the girl that confirmed her sister's suspicion. "What if I'm not?"

The girl named Myra scrunched her little face in disappointment. "Told ya, Jess. You insisted that she was the one!"

Jess shook her head in confusion. "But she's a Chinese and she's pretty...Uncle Gray wouldn't marry someone uglier than him!"

I laughed at Jess's statement.

"Yes I am your new aunt." I said fondly to the twins. "My name is Qiu Shuang."

"Seeeeeeeee?! I told you it was her!" Jess boasted.

Myra, on the other hand completely ignored her sister.

"Qiu Shuang?" she tried saying my name a few times. "It's hard to pronounce. Are all Chinese names like this?"

I shook my head in amusement. "No, some are quite easy to pronounce."

"What does it mean? Your name, I mean." Jess piped in.

"It means Autumn frost. The frost you see in autumn."

The kids giggled and jumped on me. I landed on the ground with a painful, surprised 'ooof''. Their giggles turned into laughs and they played with my hair while placing wild flowers in it to lighten the boring black.

"Play with us! " the squealed.

This is sure gonna be a fun day.
